The biggest disappointment of our trip. We were not this hungry and hesitated between the 3 or 4 course meal rather than the tasting menu and went for 4. The welcome bits were nice. A promising start The single scallop was perfectly cooked The pasta with meat ragout was a stupid choice. Meat sauce was dry and fibrous. We had much better in restaurants focused on pasta for a fraction of the price. Portion was very small. Beef and Lamb was well cooked and all good, but there was nothing special about it. Just a good slice of meat. A small portion once again. It was definitely a bad choice. I could have cooked something equally good at home. The dessert "My sea I don't know you" was the most interesting part of the meal. A lemon custard with anchovy flavoured meringue on top. I won't say it was bad per se, and we both could understand the idea behind it, but unfortunately we didn't enjoy the strong fish flavour in our desert. We asked for 1 glass of wine each. We were offered some local wine. It was good but nothing exceptional. This was priced at 12 euros a glass. A little steep we thought. And at the end of this unsatisfying meal, and despite our small appetite, we were still hungry and stopped to have a gelato on our way home. Definitely bad value for money. This was about 120 euros per person and we had a much more pleasant meal the next day for 20 euros. The restaurant is well decorated, service is nice, but it feels a little sad with only 6 people coming on this evening...

We had an unforgettable and an amazing dining experience at Duo! Hubby and I opted for the 8-course tasting menu, we placed our trust completely in the chef, having no idea what would come next, and it was the best decision we made. You do get the choice to order Ala Carte though.

Each course was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Such creativity and attention to detail were truly impressive. They were very respectful of dietary issues as well.

The service was equally top-notch—attentive, but never intrusive. What stood out the most was the personal touch: the chef came out to greet each table, which made the night feel even more special.

The ambiance is minimalist, but it complements the focus on the food perfectly. If you're looking for a culinary experience that will blow you away, I highly recommend dining here. This is more than just a meal; it's a work of art....

Congratulations to Duo for a wonderful dining experience. From our welcome arrival the service everything was perfect. Paola our chef treated us to a wonderful journey starting with a tasty and surprising almost like lentil popcorn. The grisini, seeded bread and our oyster gelato and caviar starter was exquisite and took us all by surprise. Our dorato fish melted in our mouths and the lamb was beautifully cooked. A must to try is the spectacular sea desert with a caper and anchovy meringue , lemon mousse, caper dust and basil cream…. One of the most unique desserts I have eaten. There were 13 of us and we all left amazed and very contented. Thank you so much to the Duo kitchen team who smiled and waved through the glass window in the kitchen. which was also a lovely touch to see the team at work. Duo is a must to try out side the touristy Lecce restaurants in the old city centre.

We had an exquisite tasting dinner. Chef Fabiano was an amazing host. We had dietary restrictions and the chef accommodated us even on short notice. The presentation of every course as well as the taste (wow) Every course that was brought out, the chef came out as well and explained in short detail what we were about to eat-what ingredients he used to create the dish. The wine selection was very extensive. The wine prices ranged between 30 and €50. After dinner we talked with the chef (owner) and his wonderful wife. The restaurant is a 8 minute walk out of the old city of Lecce. I would highly recommended this establishment.
