Premesso che 3/5 al cibo per non influenzare positivamente/negativamente in quanto non ho neanche cenato in questo posto.

Il responsabile ha inveito contro di me perché mi sono permessa di rispondere a una signora che mi ha chiesto di FARE QUALCOSA infastidita dal comportamento di mio figlio (dopo solo 30 secondi di capricci perché non voleva sedersi sul seggiolone, non ancora presente al tavolo nonostante richiesto anticipatamente al telefono), chiedendole se per caso volesse mettere le mani addosso al bambino per farlo smettere di fare i capricci.

A quel punto, il responsabile è intervenuto dicendomi che anche lui ha figli, che non mi dovevo permettere di inveire contro la signora e che, piuttosto, avrei dovuto calmare mio figlio che “faceva il pazzo” con una caramella o portandolo a fare un giro, invece di cercare di far da pacere o offrire il suo aiuto.

Ovviamente me ne sono andata. Ovviamente, in tutto questo, la pazza ero io, si ho perso la pazienza e ho alzato il tono della voce. E non erano nemmeno le 20:00, orario della prenotazione. Il locale era ancora vuoto, ero sola, e la mia compagna di cena ha potuto solo assistere all’assurdità della “cena” andata in fumo.

Complimenti a chi ha figli che non fanno nemmeno 30 secondi di capricci, a chi ha inventato caramelle miracolose che li calmano all’istante, e soprattutto alla solidarietà e all’umanità della gente.

P.S.: quando ho suggerito al responsabile di riservare il locale a un pubblico adulto, mi è stato risposto di tornare quando mio figlio “sarà pronto”. E, per onestà, ha aggiunto che è contrario alla violenza… ma più zuccheri e passeggiate per tutti i bambini pazzi!

PPS la mia prenotazione è stata cancellata per no show da the fork per non permettermi la recensione

Rispondo alla risposta del proprietario:

Consiglio un corso di comunicazione o, semplicemente, di lingua italiana. Non è scritto da nessuna parte che siano state alzate le mani a mio figlio, ma solo che ho risposto alla signora chiedendole se volesse lei alzare le mani a mio figlio, poiché, con scarsa gentilezza, assoluta mancanza di pazienza e grande maleducazione, mi ha chiesto in modo nevrotico di intervenire per placare i 30 secondi di capriccio di mio figlio.

Non ho modificato neppure una virgola delle parole precedenti, perché sono una persona onesta, che ha tranquillamente ammesso di aver perso la pazienza, di aver alzato il tono della voce e di essersi comportata da “pazza” — la stessa parola che lei ha usato più volte nei confronti di un bambino di due anni e mezzo.

Oltre all’ignoranza della lingua italiana, con la sua risposta dimostra anche ignoranza delle linee guida pedagogiche internazionali, che indicano chiaramente come gli adulti dovrebbero reagire di fronte ai capricci di un bambino. Quella che voi definite “incuranza” è, in realtà, la calma necessaria da mantenere di fronte ai normali momenti di crisi di un bambino di due anni, che né ha urlato a squarciagola, né ha sbattuto il seggiolone sul quale, tra l’altro, non gli è stato nemmeno dato il tempo di sedersi.

Siete ridicoli, e ancor più assurdo è il vostro schieramento a favore di un cliente rispetto a un altro, senza neanche aver cercato di comprendere la situazione, solo perché lo straniero vi porta quei miseri spiccioli in più durante l’unica stagione in cui vi...

Very stylish restaurant with a very tempting menu. If you want something more than a ‘typical’ restaurant but you still want the best local food give this place a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed. The front of house waiters Massimo and Cristian looked after us with enthusiasm, professionalism and fun but the unseen hero’s are in the kitchen. The photos show the polpette di caciocavollo e Nduja and the milliefoglie di mellanzane alle parmigiana as starters and the filleto di pollo con fonduta di Gorgonzola e noci and the special of the day, pasta with scorpion fish, red and yellow tomatoes and fermented black garlic. The remains of the two fish used to prepare the dish had been lightly deep fried and presented on a separate plate. A local rose called Cerasa made from the distinctive negroamaro grape was a perfect choice thanks to Massimo. With so many restaurants to choose from in Lecce, it is not easy to make a choice but this place did not disappoint. Just remembering the lemon and ginger sorbet as a little palate cleanser...

Nice interior design and helpful staff. High prices and small portions. The dishes were not so much tasty, overall we were not satisfied with the visit and left a bit hungry and with a feeling that we've overpaid.

After the restaurant owners' response, I'm adding some information: No, I didn't "remember" about review of the restaurant today. I wrote it in my notes right after my visit, but now I found time to add it to Google Maps, just like the reviews from other places I visited during my trip to Italy. I realize that if I order 100g of shrimp, I won't eat 200g of them, and Italy is no exception, it's the same in other countries. Nothing new. However, it doesn't change the fact that the dishes were not tasty and definitely too expensive as for the offered quality. A good host would probably consider a comment like that, apologize, and invite back (what is common when something is not ok), instead of writing unpleasant...

Wow. What an incredible experience all around! First off, all of the food was absolutely delicious!! I especially loved the eggplant parmigiana (it was the best i've had), the mignolata salentina (all of the different textures and flavors were just delectable) and the ricotta cheesecake (light, creamy, fruity-it was everything you could want in a dessert.) You must come to try them yourself. The service couldn't have been any better. Every single person in the restaurant was a delight. Our servers and Maximo were hilarious and so helpful and friendly. The place was gorgeous, both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were so beautiful. The only bit of critique I have for this restaurant is that their music just wasn't very good. They played bad covers that ruined classic songs. My advice would be to maybe get a little live music like jazz. I would be more than happy to sing ;)

Wow. What an incredible experience all around! First off, all of the food was absolutely delicious!! I especially loved the eggplant parmigiana (it was the best i've had), the mignolata salentina (all of the different textures and flavors were just delectable) and the ricotta cheesecake (light, creamy, fruity-it was everything you could want in a dessert.) You must come to try them yourself. The service couldn't have been any better. Every single person in the restaurant was a delight. Our servers and Maximo were hilarious and so helpful and friendly. The place was gorgeous, both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were so beautiful. The only bit of critique I have for this restaurant is that their music just wasn't very good.
