McDonald's — Restaurant in Lecce

It’s McDonald’s. You know the drill. You’re not coming here for culinary innovation, regional flair, or grandma’s secret recipe. You’re coming here because you’re hungry, tired, maybe a little hungover, and you just want something warm, salty, and immediately recognizable.

McDonald’s Lecce delivers exactly that. The burgers taste like McDonald’s burgers. The fries are golden, addictive, and sometimes even hot. The McFlurry machine may or may not be working, part of the charm. The staff are generally quick, polite, and only mildly dead inside, which is honestly above average for fast food.

The place is clean-ish, the self-order kiosks usually work, and the air conditioning is always on point. After ten days of rich Italian cuisine, this place can feel like a guilty little vacation for your digestive system.

It’s not special. It’s not local. But it’s solid, predictable, and doesn’t smell like dead fish or feature a horror-movie bathroom. That alone gets it four stars.

Guys, if you want to eat from MC don’t go there- especially if you’re tourist. At first the tablets to order are barely working. Then we were waiting to claim the food. Well, the lil TV with orders numbers also was barely working. But ok- we’ve got the food. The taste of burgers was pretty rough. So we were casually eating and randomly one of staff members came to us and started talking something about some code. He was barely speaking English. He just randomly left us. We were just confused. This franchise is apparently too small for the amount of people wanting to eat McDonald’s… on weekends there is a long line to get seated for both lunch and dinner ! long wait as well to get the food like one is ordering in a formal restaurant! Very upsetting… maybe they should think of expanding their premises! Totally Chaotic … And maybe they should tell their staff not to empty trash bins right next to a person trying to eat their food or atleast they can place the bins away from the tables!
