il Ritrovino Osteria — Restaurant in Livorno

The worst restaurant experience of my life. First of all: We ordered the dishes, the waitress asked if she can bring the dishes all at once…which did not happen. We received them at different times, while I finished my dish, my husband didn’t even receive his. Second: We waited 45 minutes for him to receive his dish. The waitress came with a part of it and apologised for mixing up the dishes and reassured us the other part of the dish is coming. After waiting another 15 minutes we couldn’t take it anymore so we went up to the register to pay and leave. The owner was very dismissive didn’t want to own up to his mistake and didn’t even offer to make us a discount for the inconvenience.

Third: I ordered cod fish. I have never had something so terrible in my whole life. It had a horrible taste and smell like it was fowl, gone bad. I complained but they just said it tastes like that (I have had cod fish in my life and that is not how it tastes be assured of that)

All in all don’t recommend at all. We came with friends visiting Italy, a terrible...

The food was absolutely amazing. Especially the pumpkin ravioli & cheesecake were mindblowing, but everything we ordered was exceptional. There was live music which was nice for the first ten minutes but honestly too loud which prevented us from staying longer after finishing dinner. It was quite a busy night and our waitress seemed to be running the whole terrace by herself which she did a great job at. What i assume was her boss seemed to put a lot of pressure & negativity on her from our point of view which influenced the ambience for us a bit since she seemed to be basically running the whole time to keep everything running smoothly, which she did a great job at. un esperienza favolosa! avevo prenotato erroneamente per 3,chiedo alla ragazza(tra l’altro gentilissima) se fosse possibile aggiungere un posto, subito ci accoglie e ci sistema tutti e 4, facendoci scegliere se mangiare all’interno o all’esterno; il locale si presenta molto pulito e accurato, sia fuori che dentro, è in stile toscano, io la definirei in osteria chicchettosa. non abbiamo preso antipasti, siamo direttamente partiti con mangiare i primi: spaghetti chitarra con burro chiarificato , avocado, gamberetti,lime due chitarre al granchio blu -tagliolini al tartufo(fuori menù) per continuare dopo abbiamo preso le tagliate, sia con cipolla caramellata che con melanzane al tartufo… una carne di una morbidezza e qualità inimmaginabile! i dolci per finire sono stati il giusto punto per chiudere questa meravigliosa serata. lavoro anche io nella ristorazione e penso di aver trovato pochi oste e camerieri molto gentili (di solito sono tutti abbastanza schizzopatici)la cosa molto carina è stato il loro gratta e vinci che ci hanno regalato dove la vincita poteva essere un viaggio, sconti, vino… stranamente siamo riusciti a vincere un 10% di sconto… che dire? (scusate l’aver troppo descritto) tornerei? assolutamente si! se volete amore e rispetto del cibo quest osteria fa al caso vostro… bravi...
