Caffè della Villa — Restaurant in Locorotondo

For what it is, a lively cafe serving patrons on the Piazza Emanuele Vittorio in Locorotondo, this is a great place. Staff are multilingual and to-the-point, so be ready. They serve pastries, gelati, caffe of course, and there is decent wifi, plus one of the best places in town to be people watching while sipping a long espresso. Highly recommend. People will wait for a table, so you want to get there before the breakfast and lunch rushes. We sat down at a table outside. I went to the bar to ask the waiter to clear the table, while I wanted to order something. The waiter arrogantly told me to sit down and relax and he would come over. I did so. Minutes passed, tourists changed at the neighboring tables, who were served by this waiter, but he avoided us. Stopped by Caffè della Villa once we arrived in the historic centre of Locorotondo. The coffee was really good, and so was the cannoli!

It was a lovely spot to spend thirty minutes or so, enjoying our coffee and the dolce!
