A good place for its purpose.

If you're trolling the streets for somewhere that's bigger than a cafe but smaller than a Michelin Steakhouse, then this place is the right selection.

The food is fine here, there's a variety of choices and the food is very tasty. We had some Focaccia and some entrees (the Focaccia was more like a folded over pizza I'll admit...) and everything tasted fine. Sure, there are fancier places around, but this place is on the square, won't cost you 100€, and the service was polite and helpful.

We were here in the winter and there was an ice skating rink outside. I suspect that there are activities in the square during the summer as well. The large amount of outdoor seating will be something to enjoy in the summer sun.

While they did have some desserts available, we did decide to head out for Gelato so that we could wander while...

Pizza is not simple when it is exceptional! What makes an exceptional pizza? Wood fired, 100 year old oven, first rate ingredients, a magic tomato sauce, a talented kitchen crew and a great recipe all combine to make a “Thomas” pizza (named for one of the attentive wait staff). The Thomas is piquant and dolce, crusty and delicious. We have eaten pizza on two continents and this is the best slice that we have ever tasted. That is not a declaration based on a “one night stand”! We went back many times and every time it was consistently delicious. The name of the charming owner is Massimo which means “the greatest”. How appropriate!

We shall return. Thanks

Gianni...

We spent two weeks in Italy, and this was the worst meal we had. We stumbled upon it as we rode bikes. It was like a bad imitation of an American version of Italian food you'd get like at a fast-food restaurant. This was our first full day in Italy, before I learned to first check Google Reviews. The salad was slathered in dressing, with gigantic croutons, and wilted lettuce. And my pasta was hard, like it had been sitting out and then microwaved, with too much cheese. The workers were friendly, but the food? No. Every other meal we had in Italy was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. This place was not.

This is by far the worst pizza that have ever had the misfortune of eating in Italy. It is made with no respect for the proud Italian traditions. I can’t even begin to guess how they managed to bake that soaky awful thing. And it sure didn’t help throwing lots of tastless things - and cold cheese - on the poor thing. I tastes it and then l left it. The waiter seriously asked me: Everything ok, Sir? Look at the plate, for Heavens Sakes.
