1 Star, because 0 is not possible...macho anti-foreigners are not suited to manage a restaurant in a touristic city. My girlfriend and I were guests at this garden café and ordered Aperitifs. While I was "allowed" to use the indoor bathroom (I am Italian und hence speak the language), my girlfriend (she is Austrian and does not speak Italien, but is fluent in English) was kicked out of the inside Area with the words "no tourist! NO TOURISTS!" from the owner himself. He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out...even after I spoke to him he refused to apologize and got even more angry. Terrible man. Unfortunately one star too many for the outdoor cocktail bar experience. What was supposed to be an aperitivo with friends ended up rather badly. Ordered some drinks then bottles of wine to go with ordered food we were told would come soon! After well over an hour I had to go over to the main restaurant to speak to someone responsible who knew nothing about our food order. But rectified it promptly but too late for us. Never going back or recommending the cocktail bar. Restaurant yes but even reluctant to go back there. Lucca resident who will NOT be recommending this...

Wow. The Bar is Awesomely disappointing. They were happy to continue serving drinks well after we had ordered food - which upon ordering was said to be only 10 minutes away. Chased it up continuously until - enough 😡 and approached the Sushi restaurant ourselves who said they’d never received our order!! 1.5hours after ordering 2 simple tempura platters they were delivered. Not an offer of patatine nor nuts nor bruschetta / just “another drink”? Never again. Live in Lucca and will spread the word. ...
