The waitress brought me the wrong dish - something I had not ordered (and am allergic to). When I told her it was wrong, she argued, then yelled for several minutes and brought a menu and insisted I had ordered what she brought. Finally she took away thd plate, but by then I was very upset and didn't eat. When we left, another waiter asked if everything was good and I said no, so he said in Italian that we didn't have to pay for what I didn't eat, but very rudely, like I had done someyhing wrong by refusing to eat it. After we left, I noted the name of the restaurant, and he came out and started screaming at me in thd street that everything was good because we didn't pay. I told him everything isn't good because the waitress was rude and screamed at me. We started to walk away and he followed us screaming. My husband thought he was about to hit me. He followed us screaming and cursing at us in Italian and Engligh...

Go for the Pizza at Aristotele

Came here for dinner one evening because it had cute tables outside, with a nice inner street setting. Tables occupied at the time we arrived but we reserved a table outside and came back half hour later.

We ordered the taglioni in squid ink with prawns, duck ragu and MIKI white pizza to share. Pasta dishes were passable, expecting a sauce with the ragout but it was dry with what looked like minced duck with spaghetti noodles. 8 prawns with the taglioni, it was fine. The pizza was clearly the winner here, paper thin in the middle and bubbly at the edges, delicate and very tasty. If coming back I would just stick with the pizza. Bill came to 60 euro, with 4 peroni and a...

Da Nunzio was recommended to me on the basis that the pizzas there were good. That’s true, but I waited 40 minutes for it, so service was very poor - especially given that the pizza that eventually came wasn’t the Romana I ordered. I was so hungry waiting that I decided I’d eat it anyway rather than wait some more! The atmosphere was pleasant enough, the terrace is situated in a little back street near the castle. I paid 18 euros for a good pizza and a glass of house wine, so I think other nearby pizzerias are similar or slightly less expensive. A pity that the poor service spoiled a pleasant...

Food 5/5 - super nice, tasty, great plating, absolutely nothing wrong, one of the tastiest dishes I had in Italy Service 3/5 - slow wait times, italian speaking guests were more interesting for the staff than us Atmosphere 4/5 - sat inside, very nice, a bit too warm, but it’s the weather. Very nice and romantic. Overall - definitely recommend and would go again, but please: >> better service and it would be all 5 stars, guests remember the food but mostly the experience and how they felt, and here the service could push it to exceptional place, however, it did not<<
