We were enjoying our day trip in Mantua but when hunger knocks on the door, you have to answer. We made a point to eat earlier in the day as most restaurants are closed after 2PM and probably reopens at dusk. Whatever you love about real Italian food, you will find something delicious here, a menu that consist a celebration of flavours and ingredients. We especially enjoyed Salame Mantovano with warm bread, Spinach salad with melon, shrimp with lime oil and sesame seeds. Primi: Pumpkin tortelli with melted butter and sage, a Traditional Mantuan dish with a little sweetness. We skipped Secondi to save room for one of their dreamy desserts. Abbiamo avuto una brutta esperienza in questo ristorante. In visita con mia madre e il mio compagno, abbiamo chiesto un consiglio per scegliere un vino rosso. La cameriera ha chiamato il responsabile, presentato come specialista di vini. Gli chiedo una recensione su un vino rosso della Campania, anno 2019, a € 36. Mi assicura che è una scelta eccellente, un vino premiato, e torna a servirlo dicendo che è un po' fresco.

Dopo pochi minuti, noto che il vino servito non è quello annunciato, ma un vino del 2023! Non è solo un errore di annata, ma anche un inganno, perché un vino del 2023 non ha lo stesso valore, soprattutto a questo prezzo. Informo la cameriera che, dopo aver parlato con il responsabile, torna a scusarsi spiegando che questo nuovo anno è arrivato da poco e che si erano dimenticati di cambiare il prezzo.

La cameriera mi offre di cambiare bottiglia, ma io rifiuto per non complicare le cose. Tuttavia, mi aspettavo una riduzione sul prezzo finale. Purtroppo non è stato applicato alcun sconto e il responsabile non si è nemmeno preso la briga di scusarsi personalmente per questa situazione.

Pagare 36 € per un vino poco conosciuto del 2023 in un'osteria è inaccettabile, e la totale mancanza di professionalità e rispetto per i clienti è semplicemente deplorevole. Non consiglio questa struttura.

Nous avons eu une très mauvaise expérience dans ce restaurant. En visite avec ma mère et mon compagnon, nous avons demandé un conseil pour choisir un vin rouge. La serveuse a appelé le responsable, présenté comme spécialiste des vins. Je lui demande un avis sur un vin rouge de Campanie, année 2019, affiché à 36 €. Il m'assure que c'est un excellent choix, un vin primé, et revient nous le servir en précisant qu'il est un peu frais.

Après quelques minutes, je remarque que le vin servi n'est pas celui annoncé, mais un vin de 2023 ! Ce n'est pas seulement une erreur d'année, mais aussi une tromperie, car un vin de 2023 n'a pas la même valeur, surtout à ce prix. J'en informe la serveuse qui, après avoir parlé au responsable, revient s'excuser en expliquant que cette nouvelle année leur est parvenue récemment et qu'ils avaient oublié de changer le prix.

La serveuse me propose de changer de bouteille, mais je refuse pour ne pas compliquer les choses. Cependant, je m'attendais à une réduction sur le prix final. Malheureusement, aucune réduction n'a été appliquée et le responsable n'a même pas pris la peine de s'excuser en personne pour cette situation.

Payer 36 € pour un vin méconnu de 2023 dans une osteria est inadmissible, et l'absence totale de professionnalisme et de respect pour les clients est tout simplement déplorable. Je ne recommande pas cet...
