True love exists in these gelatos... forget about Casa di Giulietta and have love in on your tongue and in your belly instead! These gelatos were 100% perfection... not too cold, not too melty, yet soft enough to stretch and rigid enough to not make a mess. The price is very good for a generous amount of serving and that’s what real gelatos are all about -about happiness. On top of that the gelato is served with an ice-cream scoop which dispenses consistent serving size every time, unlike with inconsistent disappointing “smears” with spatulas. The first serving I got was bergamot & sage (great) and ricotta with candied orange and almonds (loooooved this gourmet flavour so much and could taste that it was created with so much love 🥺) and after the first lick I knew I wanted to walk around for 2 hours to digest and come back for more. Second serving I got was hazelnut with chocolate and panna cotta with fig. Once again I was extremely impressed! The hazelnut with chocolate was hazelnut gelato with chocolate paste with small crunchy hazelnut bits - first time I’ve had a gelato with 3 different textures... the softest is the hazelnut gelato and the chocolate spread is firmer then comes the crunchy nuts 🥺... loved every lick! The panna cotta with fig has that delicious caramelised “flan” taste. Overall I was extremely impressed by this place and has totally made my day twice! I would definitely visit Mantova just for these gelati! Grazie Mille!...

Ieri sera, mi è venuta la brillante idea di prendere un gelato. Il gelato per sé era buono, ma le quantità sono veramente minuscole. Per i prezzi, diciamo si può fare qualcosina, però non sono veramente esagerati. C’era molta fila fuori, E nonostante una fila così lunga, c’erano solo due commesse. Una commessa Con gli occhiali E bionda mi ha colpito perché era super gentile, molto disponibile e nonostante fossero quasi le 10 di sera era super carica a lavorare con molta voglia e pazienza, nonostante Richieste di Clienti e la fila che ancora doveva accogliere. L’altra commessa invece aveva i capelli color marrone A malapena si muoveva fissava il vuoto aveva zero voglia di lavorare sembrava costretta, più guardava la fila più sembrava svenire. Io ho ordinato un frappè e un gelato e ci ha messo Quasi mezz’ora a prepararlo, perché iniziavo a fare altre cose invece che soddisfare la clientela. Mi dispiace per la ragazza bionda, lavorare con una persona del genere e faticoso, soprattutto quando devi lavorare in team nei giorni feriali.
