We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this place! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—everything we tried was a great! The pork shank was perfectly cooked, the pastas were flavorful and fresh, and the cold cuts were really great quality.

To top it off, the cocktails were spot on, and we even got to enjoy shots with the boss, which added such a personal and fun touch to our visit. The portions were impressively generous—so much so that we couldn’t finish our meal. It was a bit heartbreaking to leave leftovers from such a delicious feast, but it’s a testament to the quality and quantity they offer.

First off, the staff here are amazing. I have multiple food allergies and they were so kind and attentive about it and such a joy to talk to. The two men we communicated with made us laugh a few times! We actually ended up coming here twice during our short stay in Matera. One of the waiters even remembered all my allergies which is impressive! The food both nights was delicious! I got the grilled chicken with salad and gluten free bread and my husband got the lasagna and the hamburger. All delicious! Also appreciate they offer paper menus in all different languages making it very accessible for people of all backgrounds (and spotty internet lol-so many menus from other restaurants were online only and had a hard time accessing them). We went there for lunch. The table we were at was not so good, quite wobbly, and the chairs were not so comfy. The service was really slow, it took them 40mn to make 3 salads (without sauce!!!), one panini and one bruschetta. It should basically take no more than 5-10mn to do this. The staff was rude. We went to ask politely where was the food after 40mn and we just got a rude answer in Italian from a member of the staff. And the food was expensive!! 15€ for a basic salad with eggs, tuna and mozzarella. It was good enough but definitely not worth the price. To summarize, avoid this place, you can find much better in Italy...
