Glamour — Restaurant in Messina

Great place to bring an infant or children as a tourist. Has air conditioning and bathroom. Incredibly nice staff and very clean! We used Google translate to help as their English and Spanish is limited. We got a small pizza, ham and cheese pastry, and Nutella croissant, and 2 lattes — the coffee was so great we got 2 more to go (total for everything was 11.30 Euro, a great deal — best coffee we’ve had on our Italian trip so far - they sell Gelato as well. Would come back! It is a bit of an uphill walk from the port to get up there - many nice bars and local restaurants as it is near...

If you’re not Italian, please do not use this place. Apparently this place is only for Italians and if any other nationality people walks in the road, they’ll just serve you. It’s not they won’t serve you, but they just don’t care almost...

Ich kann das Essen leider nicht bewerten sondern nur den Service. Meine Begleitung und ich kamen ins vollkommen leere Lokal, zwei Kunden( wahrscheinlich Bekannte des Personals) standen am Tresen. Wir fragten auf Englisch, da wir kein Italienisch sprechen, ob wir ein Menü bekommen könnten. Die eine Angestellte schaute mich einfach an ohne zu antworten weshalb ich nochmal fragte, da ich dachte sie hätte mich nicht gehört. Auf das zweite Mal versuchte einer der Kunden die immer noch neben uns standen zu helfen, aber die Angestellten hatten augenscheinlich keine Lust und zu bedienen. Kein Wunder, dass der Laden bei so einem Verhalten komplett leer war. Man sollte hier nur herkommen, wenn man Italiener ist oder die Sprache...
