This Restaurant is really a hidden gem under-reviewed! Coming from a coastal city in Washington State US, my husband and I are blown away by how fresh and beautifully the red snapper (right off the boat from Messina's ocean) was salt roasted!! We ordered their Symphony of the Sea marinated Seafood, it's a superb dish! First time ever in Sicily!! We arrived at l’Ossidiana in Messina at lunch time! It is a endearing family business! The restaurant is on the list of the academia italiana de la cucina! And totally deserves it! The Chef Salvatore reigns here and obviously loves to share his passion!
