My wife and I came here looking for a respite from pizza, pasta, steak, etc. We hail from Los Angeles, CA (one of the meccas for Korean food, some may even say that LA ktown has better Korean food than Korea /shrug); so it was easy to say we were looking for a taste of home.
The owners are a Korean couple and right away we were happy to be greeted and welcomed in to the restaurant.
Everything on the menu looked appetizing, but we settled for seafood pancake, a bean paste stew, pork belly (grilled at your table) for 2 people. Of course, you can't eat grilled meats without soju, so we had some 새로 (Saero) soju and a light Italian beer to mix with to make 소맥 (So-maek - a mix of soju and Beer).
When the food arrived at our table, we were like travelers in a barren desert that had arrived at an oasis. The food smelled heavenly and looked even better.
The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy and soft on the insides. Dipped in some savory soy sauce, we couldn't help but compare to our own mother's versions.
The soy bean soup was deliciously savory and warmed my heart. Best paired with pork belly to help accentuate the pork flavor.
The pork belly was divine. Requires a little knowledge on how to grill at your table. Served with lettuce, soybean paste, garlic and peppers. You can make yourself a wrap filled with rice and all the above ingredients and have the best bite of food money can buy.
Everything here tasted exactly as I it should and evoked memories of home. If you're a weary traveler looking for excellent Korean food, look no further...

The owners were so kind and we also ordered a lot of food one hour before closing time and they were kind enough to accept the order for us.
Everything was beyond delicious. We had the kimchi stew, japchae, kimchi jeon and the grilled pork belly which the owner was very helpful to show us how to grill it.
Cannot wait to go back when I am...
Read moreWe just had dinner at this restaurant and yes, it is a little bit on the expensive side, but it’s also the best and most authentic Korean restaurant I’ve tried in Milan so far. Portions are also pretty big. We had one dish each, no starters and we are leaving with a full tummy.
The fact that they have many Korean customers should tell you everything you...
