This was our only night in Milan and the hotel recommended it. It was a totally good pick for our group of 5. The menu was quite a bit more varied than what we had been experiencing in the typical Roman restaurants. The host was super nice and quick with recommendations and descriptions. Nice wine list at very reasonable prices. The room was cheerful and just very well done. I save my 5 star reviews for things that are just super excellent like Michelin stared places or simply the best in their category places. The neighborhood despite being near the train station is pretty nice so there are a ton of places with maybe more than half being Asian of some type. Felt nice to walk around and see all the other places with crowds of diners as well. Worth...

Locale abbastanza spartano, seppur dignitoso e comunque accogliente.

Had an excellent meal tonight with our family. 6 adults. Two young children. The proprietor was perfectly accommodating. Helped with menu ideas. Gave the little ones some dough to play with and baked their pretzels. Let them watch him prep the pizzas and load the oven. Nice wine selection. Very reasonable prices and the pizza was excellent. Also tried fish and a meatball app. All tasty. Good desserts. With many places closed in August, this place is even more of a gem. Easy to get to by subway, or walk from central Milan. Our four year old grandson gives it...

Stale bread. Would not give a caraffe of water when asked "not possible", forced purchase of bottled water instead. In response to the comment below from the owner, it is ILLEGAL in the EU to refuse to serve tap water! The water is safe to drink, if you claim otherwise, then all your salads are washed in unsafe water; an absolute lie. Food good otherwise 7/10, except desserts 4/10, see picture as an example. On the plus side, it was one of the 10% of restaurants that were actually open at 6:30pm allowing us to eat out with our toddler.

I visited here last week and tried their ossobuco with risotto al midollo and wow, what a delight. The veal shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the marrow luxuriously creamy, and the saffron risotto was fragrant and perfectly cooked (not mushy at all). The gremolata on top gave it just the right burst of freshness, lemon, parsley, garlic, cutting through the richness. The service was warm, and the ambiance felt truly Milanese. I’d absolutely go back for this dish.
