Really pleasantly surprised with the food! Great price, good atmosphere, friendly and warm staff. Very convenient stop if you’re in the area.
The baby lobster salad was the star. So simple but you can really taste the quality of the seafood; super soft, sweet, and tender. Pairs great with the juicy cherry tomatoes.
I generally found the pasta to be better than the main. The veal chop and sea bass fillet were executed well, but lacked complexity and diversity in the dish; it doesn’t come with any sauce or side dish, which is probably traditional but for me is a little lacking. Then people slowly trickled in. By 7:40pm, it was packed. We had a couple carafes of red wine, sparkling and natural water. The flat bread was deliciously light and crispy. I ordered the risotto with saffron, the special sea bass with tomatoes and asparagus and a side of Sautéed spinach with garlic and Chile. Another friend ordered the homemade pasta and Salt Bake Sea Bass. The wait staff came to the table to fillet the Salt Bake Sea Bass and it was very juicy and tender. All the dishes were well prepared and fresh. The desserts...
Read moreWe were there for a diner between colleagues - 2 french and 2 italians. It's a trully cosy and family restaurant, with Sardigna style, with large choice of italian apetizers to share (Bresaola, swordfish carpaccio, charcuteria de Sardena, prosciutta crudo with vegetables options as well) ) and great quality of main plates from beef to Pork pasta and the famous Safran Risotto de Milano. Dessert where classic and good as well. Service was friendly and effective. Wine list looks great (as we don't taste evrey one them obviously) and I would recommand you the Primitivo di Puglia: Paololeo. Price was reasonable for what we eat and drink. Go for it if you...
