I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alto and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm and attentive service that continued throughout the evening.

One of the standout features of Alto is its breathtaking view of the Duomo di Milan. The combination of a great meal with such an iconic backdrop made the entire dining experience even more memorable. It was a delight to enjoy our meal while taking in the mesmerizing architecture and vibrant atmosphere of Milan.

Speaking of the meal, the food at Alto exceeded our expectations. We indulged in the most flavorful tacos we've ever had. Each bite was a burst of delightful flavors, with perfectly seasoned fillings and fresh ingredients. The variety of toppings and sauces added an extra dimension to the tacos, making them truly exceptional.

The octopus dish was another highlight of our meal. The octopus was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent with a subtle smoky flavor. It was accompanied by a harmonious blend of complementary ingredients, resulting in a dish that was both sophisticated and satisfying.

Throughout the evening, the staff at Alto provided impeccable service. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that all our needs were met. The attentiveness and genuine hospitality of the staff contributed to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

In conclusion, Alto is a remarkable restaurant that combines excellent service, delectable cuisine, and a view that will leave you in awe. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Milan, I highly recommend paying a visit to Alto. You won't be...

Only visit if you want a partial view of the cathedral from the back, otherwise food is awful.

I do not know which dish is causing me to throw up right now, but none of the plates were restaurant standard. How did this restaurant end up with a 4.7 rating on Google? Am leaving a review only because of what it has caused me after the dinner, so please be warned

Dishes ordered: Prawn with pink sauce and apples - Oversauced, with what tasted like thousand island Beef tartare - seasoning was was random powder surrounding the tartare, tartare was otherwise lean and fine Seafood pasta (this was terrible - seafood was not fresh and clams were not well cleaned) Beef with chickpea fried mash - paltry 80g of beef came well done when it was meant to be medium, unacceptable for a 40EUR main Total bill with a glass of house white - 148EUR

The server was polite but served stale bread and forgot utensils. A man in a chef uniform came out to say hi (we didn’t tell him the food was terrible - could tell by our body language we weren't enjoying), ended dinner early without dessert and wanting to leave ASAP.

On the way down (restaurant is on the 8th floor), the elevator smelt like trash - someone must have brought organic trash down (why would you use the guest elevator to bring trash down in the middle of service - this was about 10pm?).

What a disappointing way to end our...

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Alto Ristorante Milan!

From start to finish, our dinner at Alto Ristorante Milan was nothing short of spectacular. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, perfectly complementing the breathtaking view of the Milan Duomo -a stunning backdrop that elevated the entire experience.

The culinary artistry of the chef was on full display with every dish. From the beautifully crafted appetizers to the exquisitely flavored main courses, each plate was a masterpiece of creativity and taste. The flavors were bold yet perfectly balanced, showcasing both innovation and mastery in every bite.

The service was impeccable. The wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about ensuring a memorable dining experience.

And then came the desserts—each one as delightful as the last. But the real showstopper? The basil ice cream. A surprising and unforgettable treat that was both refreshing and indulgent.

Alto Ristorante Milan is an absolute must-visit. A perfect fusion of outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Our family will cherish this experience for...

Delicious and creative food with excellent and warm service with a beautiful view. Our waiter did well to assume the level of conversation and explanation we desired. He was warm, funny, and helpful. He provided great wine pairings for each of us on each course. The food was continuously stunning. The "olive surprise" as I called it was actually olive and cream that was frozen to look like an olive that burst with flavor when you are it, like a caramel filled chocolate. A great surprise. The carpacccio with fois gras and parmesan was delicate and delicious. The risotto with osso bucco was so savory. The ravioli sauce was decadent at first and then mixed well with the Herby aroma inside the pasta. The rabbit and pumpkin balls was an elegant approach to earthy flavors. The filet with Iberico ham was hearty and satisfying. A great experience! Come hungry!

We had high expectations for the restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment. It didn't help that they were pretentious, with their own door guard and high prices. We ordered lobster and were shocked to receive an uncleaned lobster. Along the lobster's back lies the intestine, which just looks like a dark line running down the middle of the lobster's back. This should obviously be removed - it is very distasteful to be served this. We pointed this out, and then the chef came out and said it was eggs... and that the lobster was prepared as it should be? We argued, and he shook his head in frustration... TO TOP IT ALL, WE PAID TOO MUCH! WE DRANK ONE BOTTLE OF WINE AND PAID FOR TWO. Stay away from this place.
