Amarcord — Restaurant in Milan

We ate here 2 of our 4 nights in Milan. Lovely restaurant, frequented by locals. Extremely welcoming, accommodating of my food allergies and soooo delicious. Everything on the menu was fresh and very uniquely paired. The chef is truly an artist. They also have the absolute best limoncello my husband and I had the entire 3 weeks we were in Italy. I ordered a red prawns as antipasti, and octopus leg as main. You can see from the picture it’s so well placed on the plate and they are as delicious as they look. I couldn’t speak italian and the menu are all in italian. I used google translate to get to understand the menu. But the boss is really nice and kept checking if everything is alright with the food. Came back here, next day again. Pasta with clam & bottarga was just ok, since less flavour of the bottarga… Sea bass dish is also just ok.

Fritte Di mare was better before, though it’s still good though.

Good dishes, fresh flat pasta with squid & asparagus was good one. Flied seafood was good too. I need to come back for tasting...
