Totally worth it!
An unexpected surprise as we wandered through the hordes of fellow travellers and made our way upstairs through the il Mercato Centrale and found BOTTEGA IBERICO. The restaurant is set over two levels, with counter or table service available.
Daniel, the owner is an amazing host who takes great pride in both his high quality products and Spanish heritage. Daniel made us feel welcome!
I can highly recommend the squid ink paella or a serving of his delicious Jamon IBERICO hanging down from the ceiling for which the restaurant gets its name. There are options like the anchovies, artichoke, padron peppers… Daniel is sensible and very consistent if you’ve any dietary requirements.
A must try is the OCTOPUS A LA GALLEGA, where your tastebuds will travel to an Iberian coastline. The next level personalised service for customers is sensational and is only matched by high quality ingredients used. Totally worth it. We came in a few times.
