Burgez — Restaurant in Milan

I honestly don’t know how this place has the nerve to run a “30% OFF” promotion. I ordered a burger thinking I was getting a deal, but the size was basically the same as a €1 McDonald’s hamburger. And despite the discount, they charged €4.60 for a Coca-Cola. In total, I paid €30 for the burger you see in the photo — absolutely not worth it.

The bun was a sweet, soft “panini da supermercato” style, not the crunchy, fresh bun you’d expect from a proper burger place. With a crisp bun at least it would’ve had something going for it.

Their slogan says: “try not to come back if you can.” Well… with full confidence, I won’t...

1. Too expensive for the size of the chicken burger. Looked like children size. The burger was tasty though, as well as the milkshake.

2. We waited a lot because of Uber services having a lot of orders.

3. The seller doesn’t speak English and couldn’t translate “Panna”. She also did not understand we wanted two burgers, not one. When we got our order, I asked her to prepare one more burger. We waited for a long time, she did nothing. We left the restaurant hungry even though...

Partiamo dal presupposto che questo è un fast food e non un ristorante gourmet, quindi niente piatti raffinati o preparazioni elaborate. Detto questo, facciamo un resoconto.

La location è un po' spartana e, onestamente, non è il massimo. Però, il continuo via vai di fattorini (Glovo, Uber Eats, Deliveroo) significa che hanno una clientela costante per asporto, il che può infastidire un po' se sei in loco. Il locale è piuttosto piccolo e può ospitare al massimo una decina di persone.

Il menù è semplice e diretto: quattro tipi di panini, ognuno disponibile in tre grammature - 100g, 200g, e 300g. Se non hai una fame da lupi, il menù da 100g con patatine è perfetto. Per una fame più consistente, opta per il da 200g, e se sei davvero affamato, il da 300g è la scelta giusta.

Le patatine sono davvero ottime e i panini meritano una menzione speciale: lo smoky e quello al pollo sono i migliori. La carne è ben preparata, tipo hamburger schiacciato, che rimane croccante. Il bacon è eccellente – uno dei migliori che abbia assaggiato da tempo. Il pane di farina di patate è perfetto, non unge e si sposa bene con il resto.

Il servizio è quello che ci si aspetta da un fast food: rapido e senza fronzoli. I prezzi sono abbastanza ragionevoli: 10 euro solo panino e 12 euro con il menù da 100g.

In sintesi, è un fast food che fa il suo lavoro. Non aspettarti gourmet, ma per un pasto veloce e soddisfacente, con ottime chips e panini decenti, ci tornerò...
