The food was good but could use improvement. I tried the "Nem rán chay và đậu chiên"/vegetarian spring rolls, which had a pineapple-based sauce (if I understood correctly) that was milder than the one used for the meat option. I believe vegetarian dishes should still have that bold, street-food flavor, and this one was missing that "oomph." The "Crispy Fried Tofu with Tamarind Sauce" was fine, it had a very small amount of sauce, placed under the fried tofu on a piece of lettuce. I wish they'd drizzled it on top of the tofu or served it on the side for dipping—it would have made the dish much more flavorful, as the fried tofu itself had little to almost no flavor. It was the sauce that really made all the difference.
Regarding the interior design, I loved the beautiful decor—the colorful lamps gave it a street-marketplace vibe, making it stand out. The customer service was great, with Riccardo, the owner, taking the time to explain the dishes. I also appreciated that they called me by my name; that personal touch made the experience even nicer.
One downside, however, was the lack of a bathroom, which is inconvenient for a place where you can easily eat and drink for a while.
Finally, I had a bit of a spillage accident. When I spilled water on my table, it took a while for the staff to assist me. I had to go back and forth to get napkins myself, as napkins aren't available for everyone to grab—you have to ask for them each time, which was frustrating. They eventually helped, but a quicker response would have been appreciated, as I told them about the spill right away.
Overall, the customer service and atmosphere were nice, and I think the food has a lot of potential. I’ve traveled a lot and tried a few Vietnamese restaurants, and while the food I tried here was good, it wasn’t anything extraordinary—at least for the options I tried. I can tell the team is passionate about what they do, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try...
Read moreAs a Vietnamese, It’s so hard for me to find a good and authentic bánh mì place around town. This restaurant checked the box. Their vermicelli and egg rolls are so good too. The shop is well decorated with a lot of items and pictures that reminded me of Vietnam. Service is friendly. The menu is a little limited and the shop is more of a take away place. I would definitely come back. Also dont forget to get the...

Not sure when we'll be back in Milan, but we'll come here again if we do. Highly...
