California Bakery — Restaurant in Milan

We went for a brunch at the California Bakery near viale Piave. At first I asked is the pancakes with eggs and bacon could be served with benedict eggs, and the waitress told us they would be priced differently, so we went for the avocado toasts with eggs benedict. What we received was a toast with avocado and hard-boiled eggs, without even the hollandaise sauce which we assumed was part of the Benedict. But aside from that what we discovered was that they had a discount on other menus, therefore a menu with a pancake and benedict eggs would’ve cost just the same, and they didn’t mention or write it on the menu. Went there only for a piece of their carrot cake. I got it to go, so I could enjoy the dessert after a dinner at home. The cake is ok. A bit too crumbly for my liking, but the problem was not the taste. There was a single black hair in my piece of cake. I wish I had eaten it there cause in that case I could at least ask a refund.
