We reserved a table through google maps and arrived to an almost empty restaurant where we were shown to a table that didn’t even have cutlery laid out. When we ordered the food the server kept asking us about extra options that weren’t on the menu (cheese on the pasta or no, and “creamy or not creamy”). When asked about what these options entailed he didn’t specify what they meant (specifically the creamy/not creamy option). One of us ordered creamy with her pasta and the other not creamy. When the food arrived, we realised that “creamy” meant adding a burrata cheese, something we would not have asked fore had we have known beforehand what it meant. The food was very good but nothing special. After a while the servers came by again to take our food. One of us still had some food left on her plate and the server basically took it before she had time to confirm that she was finished, very bad service. The restaurant was still empty, but we had the sense that they wanted us out of there. I really hope this was a language issue (we’re tourists so we spoke in English) , but I did not expect such poor service for what seemed like a nice restaurant.

This is the first time I have ever written a restaurant review, but I feel compelled to do so because it was the worst service I have ever experienced. ** The bathroom was filthy, and there was no running water in the wash basin. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he told me to use wet tissues, as if this were a normal situation in a restaurant. ** The waiter behaved very strangely, as if going through a personal crisis—or worse, under the influence of something. He stared continuously at me and my mother and showed no interest in providing proper service. ** The food was also disappointing: the pasta was undercooked, the carbonara sauce too watery, and the guanciale was tough. On top of that, I was served a poor-quality wine at €8 a glass. ** To make matters worse, I found a hair in my dish after eating half of it. We left most of our meal unfinished, asked for the bill, and left. The waiter neither asked for feedback nor showed concern—he almost seemed pleased. ** Finally, I noticed I had even been charged for cutlery. Unbelievable. In short: avoid this place at all costs. Spend a little more and eat somewhere decent.

After more than 1 week in Italy, finally found this underrated place on our last night here where their pasta is a chef’s kiss 5 out of 5! My family and I literally have traveled Rome, Milan, Bellagio and Venezia yet we haven’t found any pasta that impressed us until we found this. Soknha (if i remember correctly?), who served us was so kind, friendly, and insightful in giving us recommendations. I went with the vegetarian Strozzapreti that she recommended and my sis went with a customized pasta that turned out to be a golden combo. It’s a ravioli with ricotta and spinach filling + parmesan cheese and truffle sauce + truffle oil + slice of truffle + shrimp. Even Soknha said that that combo looks delish and should be on the menu because it was that good! Also Tiramisu here is alcohol-free :D
