AVOID!!! STOLE 20 EURO OFF ME 😡

Such a shame to say this, as the food we had here over our short city break was delicious and a firm favourite of our girls. However, over the 3 visits to this store, the staff got our order incorrect all 3 times: Didn't give us our specialty crepe cone and when asked, tried to say we didn't order it. Only when I produced my reciept, would they accept they had made a mistake and reluctantly made it for us. Added Nutella to my daughter's pancake stack and was clear by gestures and facial expressions that server knew he had made it wrong, but didn't change it or even let us know what he had done. Luckily, she has no allergies to nuts! On our final visit, our order came to 20.60 euro. My husband had passed me 60 euro in 3x20 euro notes. I mistakenly handed over all 3 notes, then when I realised and asked for one 20 note back, the server laughed and said I only handed over 2. I stood my ground and insisted I had given her 3, so the manager was called to check the till. This is the part that infuriated me, as she huffed and puffed as she printed out what I presume was the till total on a reciept then faffed about pretending to count out different amounts of coins and notes and add them up on her phone calculator. After 20 mins of this, I was shown the til total receipt and the amount on the phone which was -70.25 Euro and told by an English speaking staff member that the machine does not lie and as it is my word against the server's, the till tells the truth and shows that I gave 40 euro only. Again, I stood my ground and as there was a security camera right above the till, I asked if the footage could be viewed. The server told me I'd have to find a security guard so I did. My husband explained the situation to him and he approached the counter. At this point the manager and several staff members launched into an account of the situation in Italian, all laughing and poking fun at me. Following this I was told I had 3 choices... Eat the order and have the change back from 40 euro. Cancel the order and have only 40 euro back. Make my own way to the police station in Milan to take the matter further.

I chose option 2 then approached a police officer outside the shopping centre to explain the situation to ask if the camera footage could be viewed. She very kindly explained that this was not possible and I would just have to accept that it was my word against there's. So that is where I've had to leave it, knowing all the while that the eatery have pocketed my money...thank goodness it was only 20 euro, but its more the principle of it all and being treated so appalling by the staff members.

I ordered an affogato and a nutella crepe with cream and strawberry. Literally the waiting time was really too long. The people even after me got their orders. Some staff preparing the orders were not really helpful/ nice! Somehow ignorant to the customers. (But Not the girl taking orders though! She was helpful) They didn’t speak English. They were preparing orders like really really slow! At the end of waiting so much. They got my crepe order without the toppings. So again I asked them and showed them my receipt and they apologised and fixed it. On the menu the crepe is in a cone but they put mine in a paper dish without asking. Literally they charge you for 1.2 euro more, for tiny little pieces of strawberry. Really too crowded and short staffed. The taste was good though. But it wasn’t really pleasant experience. I came to order a pancake, a coffee, and ice cream. The girl who spoke to me in Spanish was super kind and respectful, and the guy making the pancakes was also very polite. However, the two girls wearing black shirts were extremely rude, giving inappropriate looks to someone who is a paying customer. They shouted from a distance to ask me something, and one of them gave me a dirty look and responded very rudely when I asked about my ice cream after waiting 10 minutes. None of their uniforms had name tags, which they should have, because it’s important to know their names.
