Clash — Restaurant in Milan

We had two appetizers & two entrees. The appetizers were both recommended by our server. The Salmon Carpaccio was absolutely inedible. Not fresh. It smelled off and i gave a small taste and decided not to eat any more for fear of sickness. My entree was saffron risotto with shrimp & citrus. There was 1 single shrimp in the center of very undercooked rice. Not the creamy texture that risotto should be. So very disappointed. The bread basket was very good. I shared some of my husbands filet. He ordered it medium and got pretty rare. At least it was tasty. Hands down the worst meal we had in 3...

Il ristorante si trova all’interno dell’Hotel Nyx, location molto bella: curato l’arredamento, opere d’arte un po’ dappertutto (si tratta di un cosiddetto “art hotel”). Il cibo è abbastanza buono, anche se con una scelta non vastissima (pochi piatto, hamburger e insalate) e prezzi elevati rispetto alla media della zona (non economica) e alla qualità (buona, non eccellente) e alle porzioni (non è il posto adatto se si è molto affamato). Piacevole per chiacchierare, tavoli mai troppo affollati, abbastanza tranquillo e silenzioso. Servizio gentile, ma molto lento e non molto proattivo (es. alcuni dolci sono preparati al momento e richiedono un certo tempo per la cottura, ma non mi è stato detto quando ho ordinato... soprattutto in pausa pranzo, quando si hanno “i minuti contati” penso sia un’informazione...

Unpretencious bar with excellent staff and reasonably priced drinks! Don't get ripped off from other Central Milano bars... Just come here for an honestly priced drinks! Worth it! Missed the Aperitivo Hour ( free food with order of drinks above 10 euros ), but...
