Cueva Maya — Restaurant in Milan

Very bad service, extremely rude and impolite the manager ( lady ) . It seems she is doing a kind of favour to her customers, though it's chargeable Food has no taste, probably made of ingredients that are not fresh The restaurant itself seems like a market place, full of people who should leave as soon as they finish their meal because others are coming...... They will simply bring you the bill, so no one can stay as long as he/she wants. The distance between tables is not more than 5 cm so the impression is like having dinner with unknown people ( listening to their conversation etc ) ! Cueva Maya used to be one of the best restaurants in Milan, but it has become one of the worst. The attitude of " running after money " can never bring...

Food is excellent. Humble family owned business. The son is an excellent waiter and the mother is a gracious host. We went there on Monday to dine in but they were closing. They still tended to us. We decided to order out and take it to our hotel. They gave us extra food and complementary desserts. Because of the kind gesture, we decided to go again on Wednesday. We stopped in here for lunch today. Needed to take a break from pizza and pasta and were very happy to find this excellent restaurant with authentic tasting cuisine. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. We shared a pitcher of amazing sangria and had the fajitas with chicken and steak. Everything was delicious !
