What an amazing experience. We had a lazy lunch on a hot Saturday, and were simply blown away by the quality of the food.

Our host was kind and welcoming, and showed not a hint of impatience with our poor grasp of Italian. The food was uniformly excellent. Particular highlights for me were the fried rabbit and the tiramisù. (I would warn potential guests that if you eat the tiramisù, you may well ruin your ability to eat tiramisù anywhere else. It was that good.) We also greatly enjoyed the modern spin on panzanella and the swordfish rice salad.

I landed in Milan yesterday and saw the reviews for this place so thought I'd book and check it out. I can see why there's so much hype! It's proper authentic, and the food is out of this world. I don't speak much Italian (literally just a few words and phrases) but the lovely waitress was able to converse with me in English and gave recommendations on the food, wine and also local places to visit. I feel bad for not asking her name but she was really friendly! The atmosphere was great and for a first time in Italy this was an amazing experience...

Trattoria-style food but fine dining setting. The pottery and plates are art pieces and sets a great ambience whilst dining. We had the rice salad with Swordfish (Hamachi) and Truffle Unbrechelli. The fish was really fresh and overall there was a great synergistic balance. The truffle was not overpowering and not surfeiting even after the last bite.
