During my recent visit to Milan, I had the pleasure of dining at Fratelli Torcinelli, a charming spot known for its delightful cuisine and warm ambiance. Near the Porta Romana, this restaurant stood out with its inviting atmosphere and exceptional service.
From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel right at home. Their friendly and attentive service throughout the meal added a special touch to the dining experience.
The highlight, however, was the food. Each dish was a testament to the richness and simplicity of traditional Italian cooking. The flavors were both comforting and exquisite, offering a true taste of Italy.
An impressive aspect of Fratelli Torcinelli was its well-curated wine selection. The wine suggestions were a perfect complement to the meal, enhancing the overall culinary experience and had generous pours.

Read moreAfter searching for authentic restaurants in Milan that are not too expensive I am so glad I booked this place before we came. The staff are very friendly and speak perfect English which is very helpful to those of us that have not attempted to practice our Italian. The menu is also written in English next to the Italian. Not lots of choice but I personally think this is better and means the quality is far superior. I ordered a glass of red which was equally fabulous. We didn't try any desserts but the sweet spirit that was recommended to me was delicious. (I didn't take note of the name but it was at the top of the list on the dessert menu) I wish we had time to return on this visit. Easily accessible via tram. I highly recommend you book this place if...
Read moreI had a fantastic lunch here, and recommend Fratelli Toricinelli to anyone who wants to experience quality Italian food and hospitality. I found this trattoria as Trippa was fully booked, however directs you to try here - so I did!
I had the horse tartare to start and they generously allowed me to have a mixed plate of Bombetti and Zampini as I could nt decide between them! Delicious. The chocolate bread cake to finish was really nice, something I'd not tried before even though it's a local Milanese dessert and one I'd have again.
Fantastic value for an excellent, fun, memorable meal....
