Ghe Sem — Restaurant in Milan

What a great little find. Imagine, Dim Sum, but with an Italian twist with the fillings. As it was the first time here, I tried the variety plate, which had 10 different pieces. I loved almost all of them, with the exception of two, which were a very strong seafood taste (just not my thing). But the rest were delicious! The service was amazing, and so kind, helpful, and understanding to a foreigner who speaks little Italian! But I do know the word “Delizioso” which it was!

I also requested their choice for a sweet wine, and they chose a scrumptious Plum Wine, which paired amazingly well with the food. I know I’ll be back, but ask them to sub any of the others for the seafood ones. You might love them, I just prefer land animals 😁 Also, reasonable cost 30€ including wine, so you won’t break the bank. Great food, great people, nice ambiance. ES: Este sitio es el perfecto para comer genial y estar bien en Milán, es un sitio super acogedor, la comida son Dim sums chinos, pero con la textura de Raviolis y dentro rellenos de sabores italianos intensos, como Carbonara, Calcio e Pepe y Le cime di rapa e patate, vienen dos de cada uno, adjunto foto. En la primera foto se ven los amarillos que son los de Carbonara, el de calcio e pepe es el verde y el Le cime di rapa e patate es el gris. De postre pedí unos Dim sums de chocolate y queso, estaban increibles. Atienden tanto en italiano, español e inglés. Tiene opción para sentarse en la terraza también. Sitio bastante innovador, alternativo. El personal es de los mejores que me he encontrado en todos mis viajes, que no he ido a pocos. EN: This place is the perfect place to eat great and be well in Milan, it is a super cozy place, the food is Chinese Dim sums, but with the texture of Ravioli and inside filled with intense Italian flavors, such as Carbonara, Calcio e Pepe and Le cime say rapa e patate, two of each come, attached photo. Such a fun food! So well done! Usually when I eat dim sum/gyoza and alikes, after the first bite (in half) the dough of the food starts to fall down, to dismantle in a way. The ones at ghe sum are impeaccable. The best doughI ever had. You eat and it stays in place but it is not overly thick.

So they use this “asian dough” and fill it with italian flavours! What a combo!

The flavours were really good. I had 4 cheese (delicious), luganega e versa (like sausage ehich was ok) and the best one that I could have eaten like a dozen, amatriciana!
