Mamma Oliva — Restaurant in Milan

I had a nice dinner in Mamma Oliva yesterday night, with the occasion of a press conference. This gives you the flavour of the location: very fresh and informal, widely open to such contamination. Mamma Oliva cooks delicious pizzas in "napoletana" style, with soft dough and tall borders. Pizzas are made in a wood-powered oven, which is key for excellent results. I would not come back there. We decided to sit outside because we had our luggage, and we were flying out a couple of hours later. After 10 minutes, a waiter comes outside, not happy when he realises we'd like to order drinks first. As we haven't had menus yet. The service the whole way was difficult even for getting ice for the water (34°c) I'm not talking about luxury here. When our food arrived my friends seafood was rotten and my risotto was unacceptable. I tried to put cheese but as it was mostly oil i just couldn't have it. ...

With the reservation we spent 10 minutes to be led to the table, then after we found out that this is the last day when the restaurant is opened before a renovation. The waitress did not speak english but the issue was that was not having the desire to help us and to understand our needs, the food ordered came fractioned despite was ordered at once, for one person from the table they brought a dirty fork...Having said all of these I will not recommend this...
