Hamerica's via Coldilana Darsena — Restaurant in Milan

Hamerica’s is a street food/gourmet food restaurant located near the Navigli area, in Milan. The place is clean and it remembers America, so it has the semblances of a street food but with quality ingredients. The menu is vast, and it has also vegan/vegetarian options as there are hamburgers/tacos/nuggets/salads made with plant based meats. The staff is super kind and welcoming, the guy took care of us perfectly! And also the service is very fast. Concerning the food, as I was saying it’s a street food, mainly there are hamburgers, sandwiches, tacos and salads, but the choices are multiples and the menu has a large offer, which could fit for everyone, also vegetarians and vegans. Furthermore the portions are very abundant, the quantities are not excessive but very very big! The only reason I’m not givin 5 starts is the price: I think that it’s a little bit high, cause for an hamburger and a plant based Caesar salad, with 2 colas and a sparking water it was 42 Euros. ATTENZIONE, AGGIORNAMENTO (12/06, mattina dopo): Fitte all'intestino. Dolori addominali. Avrò passato ore in bagno e, come pochi altri casi in passato, è intossicazione alimentare. Come me, anche i miei amici che hanno mangiato con me sono stati male. Non credo debba aggiungere altro.

11/06: Hamburger buoni (no, leggere sopra l'aggiornamento) MA:

1. Nei menù sono elencate solo le cose da mangiare, nessuna lista delle birre e dunque non è dato sapere i prezzi finché non si ordina;

2. Gli Hamburger sono suddivisi tra small, medium e big, con prezzi ad aumentare. La differenza tra small e medium è impercettibile. 150gr vs 220gr, ma il panino è praticamente identico. La "grammatura della carne" dicono che è diversa, ma vi assicuro che ad occhio e consistenza è praticamente identico e non vale la pena pagare di più;

3. Le patatine "con buccia" praticamente non sono con buccia. Lo sono solo in teoria. Non vi aspettate i classici spicchi rustici, sono le stesse delle patatine che costano meno, ma con una piccolissima sottilissima linea di buccia che, non lo dico per esagerare, è praticamente invisibile senza guardare da vicino;

4. Attenzione, perché scegliendo le patatine con cui accompagnare il panino, si paga di più. Informazione che non è stata detta perché, rullo di tamburi, "devi chiedere tu". Capito? Devi aiutarli tu a ricordargli di darti le informazioni;

5. Arroganza e maleducazione nel momento in cui, avendo fatto notare i problemi con educazione, ci vengono date le serie di giustificazioni inutili e incompetenti riportate sopra, oltre alla beffa: "vabè vuoi l'euro (delle patatine in più)? Tieni, tieni!"

Ovviamente siamo usciti senza accettarlo, senza rispondere oltre e scendere agli stessi livelli.

Non so quale sia l'obiettivo di tale gestione, visto che con maleducazione, giustificazioni, arroganza e tentativi di prendere in giro la clientela, hanno appena perso più di 4 clienti. Ma direi che sia...

Visiting from U.S. and needed an American Burger and this was the place to go.. recommend the small size burger for most humans . Prices are great. They have beer too! Perfect with your Chz Burger in Paradise. Very nice back patio / court yard. This is a very casual place. Nothing fancy about it. Found Hienz Ketchup, regular, with chili powder and one with BBQ flavor... they were all interesting. P.S. order your burger well done I believe they normally cook them medium, medium well ?
