Insane, the price for quality ratio it’s INSANE. To all the people who think menu alla carte is expensive. This is not. Not for this amazing quality. Ignorant people will say otherwise, but trust me. Jut go in and try it. This place is better than a Michelin starred restaurant. Maybe the look of the restaurant is not “sophisticated” but i can assure you this place feels like home, i love this, my family loves this place. And i won’t eat sushi anywhere else in Milan. Keep up the amazing job.
Price: You can spend 30-40 or even more 150-200 it really depends what you want to eat (this is not a place to eat like a hog mindlessly, this is NICE food to be tasted)
Menu: The choices are so many, feel free to ask for help because the staff is more willingly to help especially the owner/chef, they know their stuff, trust them and you will have an amazing dinner (or lunch)
Restaurant: It’s not the super glamorous type, and that totally fine, actually i like this more. Feels like home, no pressure of dressing up what’s so ever. Just good food and an amazing time.
(Haters will hate, but oh well, more food for people who have an...
Read moreMy first time trying sushi in Milano and I couldn’t find a better place!
Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious 😋 There were quite a few vegetarian/vegan options, so I was really happy about that. I’ve tried sushi with avocado (which might’ve been the best avocado I’ve had in sushi, perfectly ripe and buttery), cucumbers, tamago (delicious!), mango (amazing!). There were also few vegetarian onigiri to choose from, I went with red bean paste and it was stunning. I’ve also tried gyoza dumplings and I liked them as well.
My friends enjoyed their regular, fish sushi a lot. My boyfriend really recommend salmon belly and tuna sushi.
For dessert try mochi ice cream, for 5€ you get two pieces, so it’s perfect to share between two people. I recommend passion fruit flavour.
Not to mention the staff was very kind and attentive, and the restaurant itself is very pretty, with adorable illustrations of kittens with Japanese foods on the walls and in the menu (very well edited and printed menu, may I add).
If you ever want to go for a sushi in Milan, Houseki should be your...
