I ordered spaghetti with mussels and clams (15 euros). They gave a good amount of seafood. Seafood seemed decent fresh. However, I think the seafood and pasta were cooked separately. As I was eating the seafood first, some were luke warm/cold vs. the pasta. Definitely not the best meal that I have had in Italy. The portion to price ratio is not great. Also, there is a cover charge of 3 euros per person. My friend and I were fine with it. The thing that I am upset about is that when we asked for tap water, they came back with a bottle of water and opened it immediately. We had to pay 3 euros for that. I believe the waiters understood us. Of all the places that I have been in Italy, when I asked for tap water. They give tap water, and there's no charge. This is not how you...

I recently checked out this spot because it seemed cozy. The place felt nice, but there were too many lights on the ceiling, which kind of spoiled the vibe. It would’ve been nicer with softer, indirect lighting. The service, though, was really good – quick and friendly, which was a plus.

Now, onto the food. I tried the octopus dish. The quality of the seafood was good, but the taste was a bit bland. It needed more flavor and maybe some extra seasoning to make it stand out. Prices were fair, but given the abundance of culinary options in Milan offering both superior cuisine and better value, it’s hard to consider it a standout bargain.

Overall, it’s a decent place with a comfy feel and fast service, but the food could use some creativity to make it worth...

I am sitting at our table right now having just completed a fantastic meal. We tried the panzanella (bread and tomato salad with cucumbers and basil) and the parmigiana...we couldn't decide which we liked more. We also tried the tagliolini del carpaccio (with this amazing saffron cream sauce) and penne tognazzi. We felt welcomed and people were incredibly nice to us...the place is also full of locals, which is always a good sign.

Time for dessert. I'm sure it won't disappoint.

(And like others have said, it's got a bit of a crazy decor situation, but accept it as part of the charm and order one...

Il Carpaccio is not only amazing with their food but the service and attitude are unparallel with anything you would find in Milano. It's simply amazing. In September last year I was charged a wrong price of wine by mistake and their manager Marco wrote an email (I booked via Fork) appologizing and asking to come back and pick up the difference. However I don't live in Milano I only came back yesterday - 7 months later and yet I was given the change back . Food as always fantastic. Truffle and porchini dishes are absolutely splendid here.
