I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nara, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a quiet corner, the restaurant exuded an air of authenticity and elegance that set the tone for an unforgettable meal.
From the moment I stepped in, the warm and courteous staff made me feel welcome. The attention to detail was evident not only in the decor but also in the presentation of each dish. The sushi chefs demonstrated their artistry right before our eyes, crafting each piece with meticulous precision.
The beverage menu was equally impressive, offering a curated list of sake and cocktails that complemented the dishes perfectly. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about pairings, ensuring a holistic dining experience.
What truly set Nara apart was the dedication to authenticity. The chef's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients was evident in each bite, transporting diners to the heart of Japan. Yet, there was also an innovative touch that showcased the restaurant's creativity and willingness to push boundaries.
The ambiance was serene and inviting, striking a balance between sophistication and comfort. Whether you're having an intimate dinner or a celebratory meal, Nara caters to both occasions flawlessly.

ย ย ย Read moreTerrible, terrible, terrible sushi. My "rainbow roll" was clearly not a rainbow roll. It had only three types of fish, and as you can see from the pictures the amount of fish given was really small. I'm not even sure what was inside the roll, some uncooked shrimp perhaps. It had a very chewey consistency. The tuna nagari was dry, as though it had been exposed to the air too long. The salmon sashimi was decent, although a few pieces had the skin still attached. There's clearly quality ingredients here, but no consistency.
Others around me had great looking sushi, while I was given garbage. I don't know if was my tattoos or my English, but clearly I did not receive the equal treatment. I had to ask twice for wasabi, as my initial request was ignored. I was never given glassware for my water or beer; had to drink it out of the can; something no one else was doing. It was very crowded and obviously popular, but clearly everyone else received a different...
ย ย ย Read moreWe went there for the all you can eat lunch on Saturday. Our experience there was above our expectations as the food selection was amazing, the quality of the sashimi and sushi was fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly, quick, and accurate.
We ordered a total of three separate times and we got all of our dishes accurately delivered within 10-15 minutes of waiting during the lunch rush. With considerations to the competitors nearby, the pricing was a very good value especially if you are looking for good quality salmon and tuna sashimi like we were. They do limit the ordering to 2 dishes per person, but you can order the nigiri if you want more salmon or tuna.
The place was very staffed with service available if needed, and the inside decor was very fancy and welcoming for us. Definitely one of the most fancy Japanese & Sushi experience we have ever had. Location was also very convenient and...
