IL SANTA — Restaurant in Milan

Regional Italian dishes with a creative twist and an extensive wine list in an elegant, high-ceilinged venue. We went there for a business lunch. Simple dishes like lentils but always enriched with a touch of fantasy that gave a less obvious taste. Original. The seafood tartare are Exceptional. Seasoned with special tasty creams that did not hide the fish but enhanced it a lot. The bread is produced in the restaurant and I assure you it is addictive. We ordered it twice The staff is kind, sophisticated and very professional. They also offer Catering and corporate events. In my opinion you go for sure. for quality and service. Obviously the cost is medium high. But we are in Milan. The place is industrial style. When I was there it was hosting a very high level art exhibition with paintings and works that gave great style...

Esperienza fantastica. Mi fermai lì perché pioveva a dirotto. Ordinai un piatto con gamberi, fave e piselli. Una liscia da un litro o 750, non ricordo. Un caffè corretto con sambuca. Antipastino omaggio: un gambero cotto affiancato da mezzo pomodorino e una salsina tipo maionese ma che non è maionese su un pancake leggermente salato (nome particolare: BLIGNY - dovrebbe essere). Prezzo 26 euro e qualcosa..e 10 credo .. con POs. Locale dentro molto grande. Fuori piccolino: pochi coperti scoperti, all'aperto appunto. Sedie e divanetti. Tranquillità. Ho fatto amicizia con Roberta e Patrizia, le mie vicine di tavolo. Due menti. Non ti sembra nemmeno di essere a Milano lì: è un posto tranquillo, isolato e nascosto. Devi conoscerlo per poterlo amare. Il passaparola funziona lì. Ho chiesto di giorno come cambiasse la situazione: lavorano molto con gli uffici. .. palazzo della regione Lombardia: Garibaldi fa, 43, mm Sondrio, tram 10, 5, 67, 91, 92..passa il mondo dei trasporti da lì... A piedi sei vicino pure a CENTRALE FS E IL BELLISSIMO QUARTIERE DI PORTA NUOVA, MELCHIORRE GIOIA.. LUNIGIANA, FABIO FILZI, GALVANI, SCHIAPARELLI, TONALE, PONTE SEVESO, FARINI... SIAMO IN UNA DELLE ZONE PIÙ BELLE E FORNITE DI MILANO. LA POSIZIONE DEL LOCALE È OTTIMA. SEMPLICEMENTE UN PO ISOLATA E NON A VISTA. MA LA COSA CHE MI HA VERAMENTE COLPITO DI PIÙ ...IL BAGNO: per la PULIZIA MI SONO SENTITA IN GIAPPONE. ARREDAMENTO VINTAGE/orientaleggiante: uno specchio enorme, suppellettili particolari, una poltroncina con due cuscini con la stampa della bandiera americana, così ti siedi pure se sono occupati i bagnetti. Bagno femminile/disabili con uno specchio ovale vintage colore grigio.. ma un grigio molto particolare, quasi un verdino militare. Tutto a norma...carta presente. Sapone. Cestini piccoli. My boyfriend and I stubbled into this place after an extremely heavy rain night in Milan. We had no idea what to expect but regardless they blew us away—amazing, truly unique dishes that are mainly italian with contemporary twists on everything. Excellent service, everyone was SO NICE and they gave us lots of delicious complimentary bites at the beginning. Very solid wine selection too.
