Instagrammable, But That’s About It – Hidden Charges & Rude Service

This restaurant has a beautiful ambience—definitely Instagram-worthy with a charming setup. If you’re just looking for a nice backdrop for your pictures, it might seem like a great spot.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The service was awful—no greeting, no goodbye, just an unwelcoming attitude the entire time. To make matters worse, they charged us €15 extra without telling us, assuming a fifth person would come (even though we clearly reserved for four). Instead of communicating, they just added it to the bill after we ate, which felt dishonest.

The food was mid—nothing special, and definitely not worth dealing with the bad service and surprise charges.

If you want pretty pictures, this place might work. But if you care about good food, honest pricing, and friendly service, I’d recommend...

Inspired by the business lunch option, I decided to try this Greek restaurant. The options are varied: souvlaki, gyros and some vegetarian options. I opted for the €18 souvlaki menu consisting of souvlaki (2 pieces) with fries, Greek salad, pita and a dessert (Greek yogurt with honey and almonds), the portions are not exactly abundant. The part I preferred instead is the salad: tasty, fresh and colorful. The wait for the dishes was at least 15-20 minutes. The bill is €24.50 (€18 business lunch, €3 cover charge, €3.50 water), in my opinion the €3 cover charge is a bit expensive considering the table setting, I spent much less eating the same things and with similar quality in other Greek restaurants. I am not an expert in Greek food but this restaurant is super good! We got a compliment first (some bread with something tasty on top), then we took dolma, moussaka, souvlaki, polpo and baklava.

We also took some cocktails and a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious.

The interior design is great, all the details are so carefully chosen: the furniture, walls, decorations, and even a hand cream in bathroom and a wardrobe – a big extra, that you rarely see in Milanese restaurants, but that are so pleasant to find for the customer.

The staff was very kind and helped us modify some dishes, as we had a girl with us, who couldn’t eat everything.

I will definitely come back to try...
