I visited this restaurant recently with high expectations, but unfortunately the experience fell far short of its steep prices.
First, the pizza arrived practically cold and lacked any real flavor. At €30-35 per pie, I expected something exceptional—yet I’ve enjoyed far superior pizzas at simpler places for €10–15. Those were fresh, hot, and genuinely delicious, whereas this one was anything but.
The Milanese risotto was equally disappointing. It didn’t taste like a proper risotto—there was no depth of flavor or al dente texture, just a bland, mushy plate that felt unfinished. The only dish that showed promise was the steak tartare, which at least had a clean, balanced taste.
Service only added to the frustration: our order was mixed up, and we ended up waiting nearly an extra hour for the correct dishes to arrive. And even the tiramisu failed to redeem things—a plain white cream reminiscent of a mass-market supermarket dessert, with none of the authentic texture or flavor I look for in a classic Italian tiramisu.
The sole highlight was the restaurant’s atmosphere—the warm décor and soft lighting create a pleasant, romantic setting. But sadly, neither the food quality nor the service justifies the high prices. I can’t recommend this place unless you value ambiance over taste...
Read moreI visited this restaurant today, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Italy. I’ve been living here for four years, but the service and the cost for what you get are simply indefensible. First off, the service from the waitstaff was terrible. The waiters kept talking among themselves and, even worse, I noticed them watching us from the side of their eyes as if on purpose. They kept looking at our table in a judgmental way. My friends and I kept asking each other if they were really watching us while we were eating.
On top of that, the pizza was absurdly overpriced. Each of us ordered one pizza, and it was as expensive as it could possibly get. On top of that, they charged everyone a service fee of five euros per person. So, if you’re a big group, that adds up quickly! And for what? A truly disappointing pizza. Honestly, anyone who’s eaten pizza in Rome would know that this was far from a good one. Now I understand why most people inside were tourists—true Italians wouldn’t pay such a high price for such a bad pizza. I will definitely never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreWe had a reservation for 7 persons at 21st October at 9:30. When we arrived and finally managed to talk to someone, we’ve been told to wait a little until our table would be ready. We have been waiting standing in the entrance of the place in a queue in front of fridges where the waiters were collecting bottles of wines and waters every 2 minutes through us, along with other frustrated clients. We’ve been standing there for one hour !!!! We would have left, but without a reservation in another place on a Saturday night, it would have been the same. Obviously “reservation” means nothing to the manager who had an aggressive and nasty face. All the staff seemed nervous (1-2 exceptions) and an atmosphere of chaos prevailed in there. We finally ate in a bad mood (one of our friends left as he was furious) an average thin pizza and some nice pasta. Too expensive (approximately 45€/person) for an average dinner among rude staff. We’ll never go back there. Avoid by...
