Il Mannarino Fiamma — Restaurant in Milan

Unfortunately it was not the greatest experience. When we walked in we were not met with the same enthusiasm about the food experience we were going to have. The staff was not the nicest and did not help us guide through the choices of meats. It may have been because he didn’t want to try with English speakers. In the end we managed to order some good tasting meats. In addition, after we paid we noticed that the price of the dinner was a little high. When we looked closer at the receipt we noticed that the staff had sneakily added on an extra order of bombettas. It could not have been an accident because the weight and price of the 2 bombettas orders were not the same on the receipt, meaning it was not an accidental repeat. The fillet and angus were tender and perfectly cooked but both were missing seasoning. The sides of vegetables were also not salty enough. The bombettas were delicious and well seasoned. Our favorite was the Gorgonzola filled bombetta. Unfortunately the server also forgot one of our sides dishes, not making it to the actual dinner party 🤣so it was more like dessert. We finished with the decomposed cannoli which were so good. perfectly crispy and sweet! If they don’t sneakily charge you for extra bombettas it is well...

Terrible service!!!!!! I gave myself completely to the taste and recommendations of the guy at the meat hotel, and everything seemed to be going well. When the appetizers were over, they brought me a steak on a tall, heavy tray and the waiter put it in front of me and left, and left, I had to look for him and call for him to help me (and as it seems, this is his duty). When he deigned to do it anyway, I asked for a second glass of wine, for the steak. Of course he said.... The steak was over, and the waiter didn't even show up on the porch. My dinner was disgusting!!!! The meat was recommended to be tasteless and with a bitterness of burning. The salad was filled with balsamic vinegar. But the play had a second act.… I still decided to express my dissatisfaction with the waiter's work, that he never brought me wine. To which, as I understand it, a senior employee told me, "Sorry, the wine you were drinking is over, and we can't open a new bottle before closing."…. THAT'S IT!!!! The curtain!!! But ... the waiter comes next and tells him, I forgot about the girl!!!. And now, that's it!!! This place will be...

Very good meat and friendly Service. Reservation in advance via Google is recommended. Unfortunately I was charged a beer I did not have. The Waiter did not show receipt before paying. Trusting in correct billing I paid the shown amount and trustfully just took the receipt with me in my pocket without checking. Back at the Hotel I emptied my pockets and took a close look at the receipt, recognizing that one beer (6€) had been charged too much. This gives the experience of the visit afterwards a kind of bad touch as I felt somehow scammed and not as I had been in a kind of "safe space" (restaurant).

I called the Restaurant immediately afterwards but no realistic solution had been presented to me.

Paying 15€ for a Taxi to return to the Restaurant to get 6€ Cash is not a realistic option / solution unfortunately.

Personal Lessons learned and a kind advice to anybody who Intends to visit: check your bill before or immediately after paying to avoid getting...
