Mabuhay — Restaurant in Milan

Place was beautiful and big. They also have table outside which is perfect on summer day’s. Food is delicious also, it seems that you are eating in country home. A real taste of filipino. Staffs are very welcoming, kind and friendly. Unfortunately service isn’t that better. We’ve waited that long before our food arrived. Actually we reserved a table for 19:30/20 we arrived for 7:48 so probably we are on time. We sat and wait for menus and we actually asked for menu cause they didn’t gave to us. Suddenly we waited again to order. We actually got ordered by 8:20. Then we’ve waited that so long which the food arrived at 9:24. We do understand that they just got opened, but it’s better not let the customers waits...

As a fellow Filipino visiting Milan, I really want this place to succeed. The food is decent enough if you miss the Filipino taste, and the atmosphere is nice because you feel like you are back in the Philippines with all of the Filipinos around and the nostalgic OPM music playing.

BUT, the service and the timing of the service is terrible. They need to fix this ASAP or else even the local Filipinos will have a hard time recommending this place to their friends and family. Be prepared to wait 45min to 1 hour, and follow up your orders because even the servers need help on which orders are lacking.

Good luck and hope they improve...

I’ve been here on the second day of their opening with a group of friends. They were hospitable and food was great. But a lot on there menus were missing on that day.

We came back after a week.

On my observation, this restaurant is unprepared!! Unorganized!! slow to take orders. We know that they’ve just opened for a few days. But opening a Restaurant needs good preparation and organization on how to handle orders.

We arrived at 7:20 pm seated outside, they took our order at 7:50pm. We’re 8:30 and food haven’t arrived yet.
