What an experience. Asked around for some Italian restaurants and was suggested to try this place out, couldn't be more satisfied.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, spot on food.
I had the Paccheri Tricolore (paccheri, tomato, burrata, pistachio cream, and chopped pistachio) for €10,9 to boot. It was delicious, especially since I never expected I'd find myself eating pasta and tomato with pistachio cream, but the combination worked out really well!
For drinks, I opted for the refreshing Blood Orange (orange soda) at €3,5 and Torta Della Nonna (Cake with custard and pine nuts) at €4,5 for dessert to end the night. The cake was a delicacy. It had a pie-like crust with sweet custard and pine nuts to top it off. I was really impressed, it also tasted familiar yet excitingly new.
I'm no food expert but I was extremely satisfied with how they came out, especially since it was my first time ever going to Italy. As for the prices, I would neither say they're too cheap nor expensive. I think they're just right for the quality, maybe even a steal haha.
Highly recommended. Would love to come back and try another dish if I ever have...
Read moreNo wonder this place were recommended by our tour guide, the food was incredibly dilicious, and not that pricy compared to different restaurants we have been to in italy. Starting with the service, its that kind of place where the waiters treat you like friends and family instead of customers, i still appreciate how they charged our both dead phones, for ordering i love the inventive idea, where you can customize your order in the qr code on the table, you can order directly from the website, and its dilivered directly to you, the pasta was dilicious, i mean we customized our order to our personal taste, for starters the burrata was so delicious, nothing like the supermarket burrata i am used to, damped in the local miscusi olive oil 👌. Both our pasta was dilicious, even to our foreigners taste where we prefer it cooked well done, it was very nice. My fav thing as always is desert, the tiramisu was a chef kiss 😚 To sump up, from my trip to italy across rome and milan, if i could recommend one pasta restaurant, it would...
Read moreJust for tourists or not Italians. I ordered a gricia which is more than simple: pecorino, guanciale and pepper on top. They served me precocked rigatoni with pancetta rather than guanciale with the pork skin still there and with cream... Cream is just not acceptable. Maybe I'll try it again but that dish was simply not gricia nor even an Italian style pasta. 6.2.2019 Update after owner's reply: Just after ordered I went to the toilet and the pasta was already there when I came back (2 minutes no more) that is just the time to mix the sauce and the pasta, plus the most important thing in that dish is the GUANCIALE and there was no trace of it, but worst is the use of CREAM, no Italian pasta sauce comes with cream, ever. As I said I'm sorry but this is not Italian style pasta not even...
