Spontini — Restaurant in Milan

Spontini is among the typical places that have become real institutions of Milan over the years, for those who love pizza, the "high" one. Crispy and very tasty pizza by the slice. This Spontini restaurant is my favourite, it has two distinct environments, the best of which is the one directly facing the street. Many seats with well-placed tables, which allow you to dine without being disturbed by other customers. The quality of the pizza is excellent, the service fast and professional. I recommend ordering the "large" portion to satisfy hunger. Excellent...

Well, if you like this kind of pizza this is the place for it in Milan. It is baked in sheet pans and sold by the slice (hence the names pizza in teglia - "pizza in the pan” - or pizza al trancio - “pizza by the slice"). It is  not crunchy!!! Eating outside can be a bit noisy, as you are on a rather busy street in the centre of Milan. Nice,anyway, for a quick pizza next to a lovely and significant historical monument of 19th century Milan.

Sono stata nel punto vendita di Piazza 5 giornate a Milano per la pausa pranzo con una collega. Iniziamo col dire che, sala quasi vuota con tutti già serviti, abbiamo detto a chi ci ha fatto sedere, credo fosse il responsabile, che potevamo già ordinare, lui ha detto di aspettare che aveva da fare e da li sono passati 20 (!!!) minuti in cui una ragazza, forse cameriera forse inserviente forse tutto fare, chiamata più volte ma troppo impegnata a guardare il palmare o il cellulare chissà, viene a prendere l'ordine... ce l'abbiamo fatta ed invece no! Dopo 5 minuti arriva il responsabile chiedendo quello che volevamo, gli diciamo che avevamo già ordinato, torna dopo poco e dice che non era stato segnato l'ordine... complimenti all'inserviente! Allora ordiniamo e ci dice che avevano appena infornato la pizza al prosciutto per cui dovevamo aspettare 20 (!!!) minuti, Al che ci siamo alzate dicendo che era paradossale e che un tavolo accanto a noi (ma ce ne erano anche altri), arrivati dopo di noi, stavano già mangiando e bevendo... Se dovete magiare, non se avete fretta, semplicemente se dovete mangiare...
