Didn't have time in Milan to review this restaurant, but it is not fair to NOT give a heartfelt review for this place!!
I was looking for a vegetarian restaurant near Navigli with Italian food options and this came as one of our choices. The Lebanese addition sounded interesting, so I strongly suggested to my family we try this restaurant, and it was super worth it!!
Very flavourful and amazing food!! Probably THE BEST we tried in our entire Italy trip. We went with kids, and both enjoyed it so much that they finished all their food by themselves without any parental intervention!
We tried Penne arrabiata, Falafel, baba ghanouj, some Arabic option : Rice with fried onions and lentils (forgot the dish name now). For desserts, we tried White truffle ice cream, black truffle ice cream and catalan cream (tasted like Cremé brulee). All were super delicious 🤤 even their basic/default dip made out of Yoghurt with sesame and salt tasted heavenly!! White truffle ice cream is a MUST-TRY!!!!
Overall the best restaurant we tried in Italy, and this should be in your MUST VISIT list when you...
Read moreThis place is a joke for any Lebanese food you can have and the most importantly the owner or whosoever was running the show.
We went in for the party of 4. The owner firstly said oh I don’t take orders in a rude way, someone else will come. Then he had an argument around a dish substitution. He was just a weird person who had no clue of how to handle guests or be accommodating any requests.
Food was in very small portions. Meat was hard to be seen. Even when we ordered a main course grill, kebab came on three sticks wit rice and it was like not even the amount of meat you’ll get on a single kebab skewer at any true Lebanese restaurant.
The other staff members were courteous, but I’ll never recommend or go to this place for the only reason of this owner/manager first and next for claiming it to be true Lebanese, but they clearly don’t know. It’s a waste of time and money and respect.
I think all these 5 star reviews are fake....
Read moreWe were looking for a quick lunch in the Navigli and stumbled upon this restaurant! We only had 35 mins to eat before a meeting, and we sat, ordered, ate, and paid in 30mins!
The food was absolutely delicious and even though the portions don’t seem big, they’re huge! We had the fattet shawarma (chicken strips with something like fried tortillas, spices, and yogurt sauce) and hummus with meat. They came with white rice and Libanese bread.
We also had a bottle of water and a freshly pressed orange juice.
We paid 8€ each. 8€!! 16€ TOTAL! This is unseen in Milano! We’re definitely coming back to try other things!
Bonus point: the staff is very friendly!
Only negative: we had to wait about 5 (real) mins for somebody to come at...
