Ristorante Scilla Milano — Restaurant in Milan

I don’t often leave negative reviews, but after my recent visit, I felt compelled to share my experience. We were excited about this restaurant based on the menu, which had a great variety of dishes, all of which sounded delicious. Unfortunately, the meal really didn’t live up to our expectations.

The evening started off well with a tasty welcome appetizer, but that was the highlight. We ordered an entrée, two mains, and a side, and were surprised to find that everything came out cold — the fish, the grilled vegetables, the potatoes, and even the sauce. It was really puzzling, as we expected hot, freshly prepared dishes for the price we were paying.

The portion sizes also didn’t match the price tag. For example, the potatoes that accompanied the octopus were diced so small they resembled rice grains, and the octopus itself was quite tiny—only the size and width of a finger. In terms of flavor and quality, the dishes just didn’t justify the cost.

Unfortunately, based on this visit, I really can't recommend this place, and we left feeling really disappointed and found that it is one of the more disappointing meals we have had in...

Quando rientro in Italia, una serata da Scilla ci scappa sempre..Arrivando dagli Stati Uniti patria del cocktail old fashioned, qui ho bevuto uno dei migliori old fashioned in Italia..Servizio top, questa sera si sono superati, mia cognata ad un certo punto della cena ha avuto un piccolo problema e non ha potuto mangiare i suoi paccheri, qualsiasi altro ristorante li avrebbe inseriti nel conto come dovrebbe essere, loro di spontanea iniziativa non ci hanno caricato il costo…Gesto esemplare ma non dovuto, abbiamo chiesto di pagarlo ma nulla da fare…Cuore calabrese!!!! Il resto della cena ottima come sempre…Crudo e primi di livello…lo spaghettone una bomba…Selezione di vini calabresi di livello!!! Grazieeeee

When I return to Italy, an evening at Scilla's always escapes us..Arriving from the United States home of the old fashioned cocktail, here I had one of the best old fashioned in Italy..Top service, this evening they outdid themselves, my sister-in-law at one point in the dinner had a small problem and could not eat her paccheri, any other restaurant would have included them in the bill as it should be, they of their own accord did not charge us...Exemplary gesture but not due, we asked to pay for it but nothing to do...Heart of Calabria!!!! The rest of the dinner excellent as always...Crudo and primi of level...the spaghettone a bomb...Calabrian wine selection of...

TOP restaurant. The staff (seemed to be the only one girl taking on the whole restaurant) was very enthusiastic, professional and courteous :) Besides that part, every dishes that we ordered were extra tasty from appetisers to desserts. The fishes were fresh and well-cooked. Not to mention all the dish presentations were splendid! We were at a point where we wondered how can they cook everything this good. I definitely...
