We indulged in two different antipasti dishes, the Tropico Italiano and Oca, both of which were heavenly. The flavors were so captivating that I could have savored them all night. Moving on to the risotto dishes, the Zaffrano di Geordie stood out as a standout with its perfectly cooked saffron rice and exquisitely made ragù that melted in the mouth. The Fumè, featuring smoked eggplant, introduced me to a delightful new taste that I thoroughly enjoyed.

While the antipasti and risotto dishes surpassed expectations, the desserts fell short for me, as they were overly sweet and didn't align with my taste preferences.

I did eat at this restaurant on October 2024 for a family lunch. We did choose this place as my girlfriend has some issue with gluten and this is simply perfect as everything (including desserts) are prepared with gluten-free ingredients. We chosen €16 business lunch menu which includes one mini-roll (gunkan), one main dish, coffee and water. Dishes were prepared with high-quality ingredients and everything was well-presented. Sono stato in questo locale il 14/10/2024 a cena. Esperienza pessima sotto molti punti di vista. Prima di andare, è stata fatta una telefonata per chiedere se fossero disponibili opzioni senza lattosio. Mi è stato confermato che non ci sarebbero stati problemi. Arrivato al ristorante, scopro che il menù contiene solo piatti con lattosio e le uniche opzioni senza sono versioni "ridotte" di piatti normali. Scelgo un risotto allo zafferano con ragù di cervo, consigliato dal cameriere, che mi assicura si possa fare. Il piatto arriva senza il ragù, perché conteneva lattosio: era un semplice risotto allo zafferano, niente di più. Ho anche ordinato un gunkan di wagyu come antipasto: buono ma minuscolo e decisamente troppo caro. Il menù dei dolci? Tutti con lattosio, tranne uno che però, secondo il cameriere, lo conteneva comunque, nonostante le indicazioni sul menù. Consiglierei vivamente di correggere le informazioni sugli allergeni per evitare rischi inutili.

Il cameriere si è scusato per il pessimo servizio senza fare nulla per rimediare, solo dopo che gli ho chiesto di scontare il piatto (mi pare il minimo), mi ha detto che "non sapeva se poteva farlo". Il ristorante ha potenziale e una bella posizione, ma il menù è estremamente limitato e non bilanciato. Ha molte opzioni senza glutine, ma se avete problemi con il lattosio, meglio evitare.
