Piccolo Café & Restaurant — Restaurant in Milan

We visited in mid September 2022. In a noisy desert of mediocre restaurants this is a peaceful oasis. We came across it by chance and we're so happy we did. The enclosed square filtered out the noise of the nearby streets and music generating from various locations. The food choice was great with one of our party gluton intolerant they catered fantastically. The service was exemplary with a special mention to Luca our waiter. His knowledge of the menu and our needs were great, his mannerisms, professional approach encompassing his bright, light, caring and funny personality made the whole experience far more than expected and worthy of my and our groups plaudits. If you're in the area I would advise you to leave the main streets where the food available is the same in every restaurant and spend a quiet relaxing meal...

Very nice place to dine right in the middle of chaotic Milan. The restaurant is located in the centre square of the Teatro Piccolo Building, which shields you from the huzzle and buzzle of the city, creating a calm atmosphere. Food variety is decent, and the prices seems to be reasonable. The service is prompt and the restaurant is clean and spacious. You can have a private conversation without bothering the people in the next table. Some of the employees are very helpful and friendly and deserve 5 stars, but I wish the same can be said about some others, who are not very happy to see you there. From the chaos of the pedestrian street to the calm of the location. We are in Milan a few steps from the Duomo, the Cathedral of the city and here we are in a silent and welcoming courtyard. The Bar part is large and can accommodate many people. In front we can admire the large median that when it is hit by the sun marks the time. The place also offers seats inside.
