Consider other Venchi locations instead of this one. Venchi’s gelato is good, but this particular location’s staff member when we were there was extremely rude. This store has unclear lineup directions and staff members don’t direct people in the right way. So people kept cutting the line from another direction after they paid for their gelato. Then when we made a complaint about it, the staff member that was manning the cashier, who was inpatient with a poker face to begin with, said to us rudely “you should have lined up that way” as if we knew (without any signs of directions) where to lineup. Then his supervisor directed him to scoop the gelato for us, he was extremely impatient when my mother was confused about the choices. That’s when I asked him, politely, that he doesn’t have to be rude. He argued that he’s not rude and essentially it’s our fault, whereas it was actually his fault, as a cashier, not to be directing people to queue the right way. After I asked for a refund, he said “fine” and left to go to the back room and let his team member dealt with our refund. Extremely unprofessional, treats customers like trash— a shame representing Milano and Italian.

Yes, gelato is good, but service is terrible— go to other locations if you want your sanity and want to be treated with a smile. Another one is two blocks away and they were nice and kind...

We stopped at this place, while we were visiting Milan, because the Google review was very good.

You can order four different sizes of gelato. Small karma regular, large, something else ( I forgot)

We got three small orders of gelato. Small orders come with two scoops of any flavours. We got mango, lemon, vanilla, milk chocolate, pistachio and vanilla chocolate chip flavors of gelato. They tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the store is decorated extremely well.

We didn't like the service much. Because we could not taste anything before purchasing, which is different from USA ice-cream stores. Also, our server seemed a little overwhelmed and grumpy, and lost track of our orders. There is no s of space to sit inside.

The place is right in the heart of Milan, in between Sforza castle and Duomo. There were lots of foot tourists there to keep...

Today's experience at the ice cream shop was incredibly disappointing. Upon placing our order, the cashier's disdainful attitude was evident as she rolled her eyes. Things took a turn for the worse when another staff member, upon glancing at our receipts, burst into laughter and engaged in what seemed like gossip with the cashier.

Unbeknownst to us at the time, we had been overcharged for our purchase. It wasn't until I requested to see the receipt, sensing something amiss with the pricing of just two ice creams, that the truth came to light. Immediately, upon being confronted with the discrepancy, the cashier admitted to the error and offered a refund. It was clear they were aware of the mistake but chose not to disclose it until prompted.

Such behavior is simply unacceptable and left a sour taste in what was supposed to be a...

Definitely worth a visit! The flavour of their ice cream was indeed 5 stars! The only reason I chose a rating of 4 stars is due to the ordering system. It’s a bit of a mess/chaos. We ordered at the till and they only give you the receipt. Without any guidance at all from the staff, you have to figure it out and go on the other side of the shop and give the receipt to the ice cream man. The problem with this is; there is no waiting line or guidance/rope for the 2nd stage. This meant that everyone is paying quickly and then ending up waiving their receipt around and pushing each other so they can get what they have already paid for. Not a 5 star experience or what you would expect.

Venchi in Milan is a chocolate lover's dream! The gelato was absolutely amazing - rich, creamy, and bursting with flavour. We tried the pistachio and the gianduja, and both were incredible. But the gelato is just the beginning. The shop is filled with a vast array of chocolates, from classic bars to intricately designed pralines. It's a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. We ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies to enjoy later. Whether you're after a delicious scoop of gelato or a decadent chocolate treat, Venchi is a must-visit in Milan. It's a true indulgence for any sweet tooth.
