Since we were looking for Milanese/Italian cuisine, we decided to go to this place based on the reviews. The place is very welcoming and charming , tasteful decoration, very nice staff and friendly owner. We were not disappointed by the food, the home made gnocchi, the parmigiana and the cotoletta were absolutely amazing ! The pasta with vongole and the testaroli al pesto had too much oil and salt. We were surprised to find the wine already opened , and that the English menu is actually different from the Italian one. The cotoletta is only in the english one, and the Italian has a broader choice (maialino cotto a bassa temperatura and cinghiale were not in the english menu ). Price for 4 people with 2 courses each and two bottles of nebbiolo wine : 230 (rather pricy but aligned with Milano...

Absolutely lovely experience at Rigolo!

We visited Rigolo for my husband’s birthday and were truly touched by the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel special from the moment we arrived.

The food was delicious — traditional, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the surprise they had prepared: a birthday cake made especially for my husband. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and he was genuinely moved.

Thank you to the entire team at Rigolo for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back — and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan who’s looking for authentic cuisine and warm...

You can't get more historical than this. The Rigolo caters to a more upscale Milanese clientele. It tends to be older people, dressed to impressed. The food is excellent and very traditional. No modern takes on old classics, no fusion, just good old fashioned milanese food.

The staff are friendly, the service is service is good and the decor is timeless. It's old fashioned but it doesn't feel old or decrepit.

This is the place to go if you want to get a feel for what the Milanese bourgeoisie is like. The prices are very reasonable. Excluding wine you should budget a little more than...

We stumbled across this restaurant on google as my group of 8 were looking to dine somewhere nice… I called and explained my situation to whom I believe was the owner, he said come on down, I will have a table for you. We arrived and sure enough, he walked us to our table set up within 15 min. My gosh were we delighted and pleasantly impressed!!! The ambience, the food, wine, dessert trolley.. all was amazing and incredible experience. Highly recommend. As tourists, they treated us so well, thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness!! 🙏🏽💕

Nice classic tuscan restaurant. The place breathes Milan in the sixties and 70’ies which has a charm with the well dressed waiters and the walls filled with black&white pictures from those days. At the same time the interior is becoming outdated. Especially the ceiling needs attention as well as the curtains in front of the windows. The food however is very good although the prices rate too steep. We went for a lunch and ended up paying almost 120 euro without ordering something special. The service is most elegant and I loved the desert trolley!
