Stepping into Roppongi Izakaya feels like being transported straight into the heart of Asia. The ambiance is nothing short of mesmerizing—warm, intimate lighting, traditional décor, and a carefully curated atmosphere that makes you forget you're in the middle of the city. It's a place where every detail, from the furniture to the pictures, exudes authenticity and charm. The menu is a peculiar, featuring a selection of dishes that go beyond the typical offerings of Japanese cuisine. Each plate is thoughtfully crafted, bringing out deep, bold flavors that reflect true culinary artistry. One absolute must-try is their sake tartare—a dish so exquisite in texture and flavor that it leaves a lasting impression. To top it all off, the staff is incredibly sweet and polite, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. Their attentiveness and genuine kindness make the meal even more enjoyable, adding to the restaurant’s charm. Roppongi Izakaya is not just a place to eat—it’s an experience, a journey into a different world, full of authenticity and culinary delight. Highly recommended for those looking to immerse themselves in a truly unique...

Roppongi is a really nice and stylish spot in Milan, with a lot of thought put into the decor and atmosphere. The place looks amazing, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The service is quick, and the menu has plenty of options, so there’s something for everyone.

That said, the food is decent but nothing special, especially when you compare it to the price. We had two beers, mixed sashimi, gyudon, tonkatsu, vegetable dumplings, and edamame, and the total came to around €100. It felt a bit overpriced, but considering how beautiful the place is and how great the service was, it’s somewhat understandable.

If you’re looking for a spot with a great vibe and excellent service, Roppongi is worth checking out. Just don’t expect the food to blow you away...

Restaurant atmosphere is overall very nice with decorations to make it seem like a Japanese back alley. The prices are a little high with okra costing 7 euros and unagi & rice costing almost 30. The service was fast however the waitress kept taking plates and cups while we were still eating. Sometimes even mid bite while we were still using the plate (without asking). The food also came out in a weird order with my friends tonkatsu coming out first, and then my unagi 10 minutes later, then the appetizers of soup and finally the okra which was also an appetizer. Overall i recommend it, but do not sit near the booths there is no space to eat and people will be walking behind...
