Tierra by Temakinho — Restaurant in Milan

3.5* Mixed feelings: interior is nice, wide selection of dishes, good caipirinhas. Food is 4* but service is more of a 3*. Everything is brought in random order, so few of us were eating second dish by the time the others were still waiting for the first. They have soups and sobas in one category and when we asked for chicken soup, the waiter didn't explain to us, that it's not gonna be soup, but yakisoba noodles without broth. Then when he brought the dish, he just dropped it and ran away. It took few times of calling the waiter, while he was busying himself and walking past out table few times, before finally he stopped and said that it's not soup, they don't have chicken soup, it was noodles (and deal with it) - he didn't even put any effort to suggest some other dish or ask us if we want to replace. I personally didn't like the tartar: the salmon was minced and mixed with cheese to the consistency resembling more a soft spread than actually tartar....

Well, the food and the cocktail I have to said was very good, honestly nothing to said about food and drinks, also the place very good decoration and ambient… about the service mmmm if they don’t do something about it soon they will destroy the place, to start the front desk girl was rude and angry, I don’t know why but if you are responsible of a restaurant at least smile is not our problem if you are having a bad day “show must go on, right”… then was 34 degrees (centígrados) outside and you are serving sushi, to have the air conditioner on should be a must and not something people should ask for, then you have at least 20 tables inside and 10 outside, give your personal some café or try to motivate them, slow and sleepy… one more time the food and drinks very good but service mmmm something for sure you will have to check…

Anyways if you are in Milan and you want to try some fusion sushi flavors good...

Sushi is high quality for the price. If you’re looking to have a nice sushi night out but you’re not a huge connoisseur and open to a little experimentation, this is quality choice.

Contrary to some old reviews, I had excellent service. I know next to no Italian so having a server speak clear English was a nice bonus. English menus too.

My only minor complaint is the strange utensil choice. In fairness, I didn’t ask if I could have regular chopsticks; maybe they have them, but the interlocking chopsticks (that work kind of like tongs) were a bit...
