Nice restaurant in central of small and cute town Minori. Place was looked welcoming and other reviews convinced us to try their offering.
At the start waitress brought us bread but also olive oil and balsamic. We have noticed that not many restaurants bring oil and balsamic automatically in Amalfi or Sorrento area, you have to ask them to.
I ordered bruschetta for starters and pasta carbonara for primi. My better half ate salad. Bruschetta was respecting classic ingredients, and tasted good. Pasta carbonara was also made like it should have. I was very pleased with menu and price of dishes. We quickly compared menu to other restaurant nearby, and found that this place was relatively decently priced.
I recommend visiting this location if you happen to drive past Minori when visiting...
Read moreWe had dinner here a few nights ago and it was definitely my favorite meal we’ve had during our vacation on the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant just opened four months ago and is run by a lovely couple, Alessandro and Gabriella. Alessandro went over the daily specials, describing them in detail, and steered us toward a great bottle of Prosecco. He was so helpful and friendly.
Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. I had one of the specials, spaghetti with prawns in lemon sauce, and it was perfect. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious too. For dessert we had wonderful tiramisu made by Gabriella.
If you’re in Minori, do not miss this place. The food is incredible, the space is charming (both indoor and outdoor seating) and the service is wonderful. This...
Read moreNice small restaurant in a corner of a square facing the sea. We arrived together with other couples and I think this brought some confusion with the staff, that looked a bit frantic. The owner was really friendly and did his best to make us feel welcome. The food was good, and we were also offered a complimentary tasting of a homemade fennel liquor, really nice. The eggplant parmigiana was great. The pasta of the day (with lemon and prawns from Amalfi) was really good but del that the lemon flavor was too subtle, I would have liked a stronger kick as the sauce was cream-based. The catch of the day was cooked to perfection and well-served with grilled veggies. The local beer I tried was also...
